It has been close to 6 weeks now and still having the same issues almost done with his Bactrim and Zyflamend. I asked the Urologist if Prostatitis was a STD his answer was no. But when I read info on line it appears to me that Prostatitis is indeed a STD. When we have intercourse using a condom he has less pain after then when we do not use one. Not sure what the flax seed oil or green tea will do for you. Gabapentin is for pain that has no resolution, since it doesn't do anything about the cause. Didn't your orthopedist send you to physical therapy, since I'm assuming it's not serious enough for cortisone or surgery? Most lower back injuries resolve on their own.

i have fibromyalgia amongst other complaints.fro about 2 years i have had a swollen abdomen-lumpy and tender which progressed to sore and protruding ribs.have had ct and mri scans which gave no clues.doctors seem to ignore symptons,now i have a feeling of tightness around my ribs and am sore all around them.it feels like ribs are digging in me.

I have fibromyalgia and so does my mother. From what I have learned it can stay the way it is now for the rest of your life or it can get worse. Try to stay on a daily routine sleep when your tired and don't overdue yourself, the best you can do is take good care of yourself hoping to help it not get worse. I have had fibromyalgia for 10 years. This past August of 06 I filed for short term disabilty, then when to long term disabilty. Hey Suzy. Welcome to the forum. Oxycodone @ 10mg injected will produce the SAME results as morphine for most people. I'm mentioning this to point out that these types of drugs are opioid drugs, potentially habit forming narcotic drugs. The fact that they are prescribed legally, does not make them any less dangerous than street drugs, other than the fact that their "quality" and strength are consistent with what they claim.

After the endoscopy we were given the diagnosis of chronic fatigue / fibromyalgia . Having been initially relieved that we finally had a diagnosis we are now starting to think differently. Once you have been tarred with this brush it would appear the doctors are not interested. My concern is how quickly this diagnosis has been made.
