Have you ever considered Fibromyalgia? When I first started getting sick, that was one of the first symptoms. I had it in my head and legs. It was mostly dismissed by everyone.

Because many of us also have chronic pain and carry the Dx of fibromyalgia, its use might be of interest to us. Wikipedia has more info.

One thing to note, I have Fibromyalgia. My G.I. doc says a LOT of people with FM have GI problems. FM is caused by a genetic liver/kidney disfunction, so there could be a connection.... Does anyone else with these symptoms ALSO have Fibromyalgia? Has anyone found ANYTHING to succesfully treat the GI symptoms mentioned above? There is no cure for Fibromyalgia, but there HAS to be something to at least TREAT the GI symptoms!

There is a possibility that you are suffering from chronic fatigue syndrome which usually occurs after a viral infection. Other possibility is fibromyalgia which is although more common in women but can occur in men too. Both these conditions can cause muscle twitches. I would suggest you to discuss these possibilities also with your treating doctor. In the meantime you can apply ice packs and make sure you are mentally relaxed. Do keep us posted!

I don't know if this is a myalgia question or fibromyalgia question, but I recently was in Thailand and have been back for a few weeks. I take it your reference article is in Wikipedia. From what I've seen there on heart subjects there is a lot of "good stuff", or so it appears. I understand too that some (much?) of what's there is from voluntary contirbuitons. That said, I recommend you discuss with the prescribing doctor and let s/he know you've see such-and-such as a point-of-reference ... it may even be a good idea to print out the material and take it with you.

Definitely take Tuckamore's advice and see your primary care physician. Pain is the body's way of saying somethings wrong. Severe pain is surely a sign of a problem. Good luck with whatever it is causing this, and please let us know how you make out.

This part of the migraine is called a Migraine Aura. You do not need to have a headache to have a migraine.

Probably a stupid question, but I read on Wikipedia that if you have >1000 PVCs per day, it can cause enlargement of the heart? Just worries me a bit, because I probably definitely have over 1000 a day.

I have fibromyalgia and so does my mother. From what I have learned it can stay the way it is now for the rest of your life or it can get worse. Try to stay on a daily routine sleep when your tired and don't overdue yourself, the best you can do is take good care of yourself hoping to help it not get worse.
