Avatar m tn Hello! I have been diagnosed with severe fibromyalgia, essential tremors, arthritis in the middle of my back and lower back spinal stynosis. I am now feeling like my head is swimming and I get unbalanced VERY easily. I have checked my blood to see if I am low in sugars, but it always comes out in the 90's which are normal levels. However, if I eat something I find things get better. I have tried to eat small meals throughout the day, but I am not getting better.

Other symptoms can include moderate to severe fatigue, a heightened and painful response to gentle touch (allodynia), needle-like tingling of the skin, muscle aches, prolonged muscle spasms, weakness in the limbs, nerve pain, functional bowel disturbances and chronic sleep disturbances. Diagnosis is by clinical examination and history of the patient.

Avatar n tn I had extreme fatigue and pain. I was referred to a rheumatologist . She looked me over did the test and said I had fibromyalgia. So now, about 2 years after that, I now have unilaterial weakness of my right side, tremors in my right hand(not at rest), slight drop foot on the right side, positive romberg test, and hyperreflexia (which was bilaterail on the knees). I also have had some dizziness/ vertigo. Not severe, but enough to make me bump into things and stagger occasionally.
Avatar m tn My doctor says it's related to my fibromyalgia. I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia in 2003 and AML (Acute Mylogenous Leukemia) in 2008 (40mo remission). Over the past 6 mo or so I've had worsening symptoms with a gradual onset of weakness and fatigue in my arms, followed by muscle twitching in my right hand, and cramping in the arms and right hand. I have also noticed my right forearm, wrist and thumb are now considerably smaller than my left (I am right handed).
