I have Fibromyalgia, MPS, and Migraines 2 days ago we took a deep sea fishing trip now I have such bad vertigo the I am staggering around like I'm drunk . Is this a common reaction? I already have vertigo but nothing like this.

My Doctors have been unable to find a cause...or a cure...for my Vertigo. I have been plagued with this condition for over one year and am unable to work as a Cosmetologist. I need Medical help. The various traditional medications prescribed for Vertigo have not been successful for me. An MRI showed 'white spots' on the brain but the Neurologist dismissed that as a cause....also middle ear problems have been ruled out.

Is there an effective way to treat acne for those with fibromyalgia? My dermatologists have tried quite the variety of treatments for the acne with no success. The acne isn't cystic, but a bit more problematic than mild acne. Also, a sulfa allergy limits that option for treatment. Current regimen includes Azelex (for redness and inflammation) and Tretinoin. I'm curious if there is an effective treatment that takes the fibromyalgia into consideration.

Over the past 5 months I've had strange symptoms. It all began in February of this year. While standing on the train I got a bad headache and stomach ache. I got off the train and began seeing double, it was really bad and then I fainted for a minute. I was ok for 3 days until I got the same sensations but didn't faint. A week or so later I began experiencing vertigo. I went to the ER several times and nothing was diagnosed.

I have just been diagnosed with fibromyalgia, so I don't know that much about it. I reccomend that you make an appointment with a pain management specialist. They should be able to diagnose you, that is how I got diagnosed. After talking to the doctor, he knew that I had it, but after he examined me, he was positive about it. I wish you the best of luck.

I was thinking it could be related to stretched or pulled muscle or even fibromyalgia but normally fibromyalgia is in the pressure point areas more common hip and above rather than just legs. Hard to tell but it's good to hear that you are feeling better today.

I am new to this and haven't written about anything.I have been treated for fibromyalgia for over a year now. The dr. never really stated I have fibro. I'm being treated for high cholesterol and trigylcerides. I'm taking welchol powder once a day and trilipex for this. I'm taking lyrica 150mg. bid and mirapex at bedtime. I went to get a lab slip yesterday for blood work and was informed i needed to be fasting for my cholesterol and trigy. levels.

Went to ER today for the dizziness and was diagnosed with Vertigo. They did MRI w/o contrast and then radiologist asked for CT, both were negative. However no one can tell me what is going on. Neurologist feels I have chronic migraines and fibromyalgia. What are any suggestions to do???

I myself have a couple of sisters DX with vertigo, another with Migraines, and myself I have Fibromyalgia and currently testing for MS So to sum up your question, it's possible for any of u to have DX of any of these conditions, it doesn't always have to relate to the exact same thing. hello, im 16 years old, and i've been suffering from vertigo right before i sleep ( when im in bed right before i go to sleep ), and dizzyness. well okay that was vague. on july the first, i had my first interaction with marijuana, and it didn't go so good, i had a bad trip and it was horrible. for ther next 3 months i was dizzy non stop, like very dizzy! and i'd get this vertigo rigt before i slept.

I have been diagnosed with about 19 other conditions including Lyme Disease and Fibromyalgia. He stated it was Vertigo, but was unsure of what could be causing it. I have had blood work, so it is not viral. About three and a half weeks ago, My Rheumatologist had just doubled my Lamictal. He was also hoping that this was a possible cause, but since stopping that Therapy, the symptoms are still persistent. Hello! I have been diagnosed with severe fibromyalgia, essential tremors, arthritis in the middle of my back and lower back spinal stynosis. I am now feeling like my head is swimming and I get unbalanced VERY easily. I have checked my blood to see if I am low in sugars, but it always comes out in the 90's which are normal levels. However, if I eat something I find things get better. I have tried to eat small meals throughout the day, but I am not getting better.

I get that every once in awhile, but to me, it's brain fog that does that. I have Bipolar and Fibromyalgia, which both cause brain fog... The vision never changes for though, so that is a little odd. What testing have they done?

Look at me, my 3rd post in 2 days...I swear I am not a post-a-holic! So, I woke up this morning, and seemed ok. I've been having what I call "spotty vertigo" the last few days, meaning it hits me gently, for a bit, then goes away. All of a sudden, I got my butt kicked by very intense vertigo...and it's still here! Now, I do know that vertigo can be a side effect of Neurontin, but I've been on and off of it for 2 years, and only get vertigo the first day or 2 now...

my legs and feet have made their way back in the last three weeks . I had three different episodes of severe vertigo and nausea...the vertigo lasting approx four days and the vomiting about 12 hrs at the beginning of each episode. The last of the three episodes I loss coordination on my right side. I had double vision during these episodes and was sensitive to light n noise. I had extreme fatigue aswell.

The plaquenil is keeping my figures negative. I also have fibromyalgia which muddies the whole thing. I do get vertigo (went on serc to help) and I find that even after the bad flare with the vertigo that I still get periods of dizziness and ear pain. I'm not sure what it is due to. It is normal procedure for a doctor to continue to test your blood to see how it is developing. It is also possible to have lupus or RA without a positive blood test.

I was diagnosed before Christmas with Fibromyalgia. I also have hashimoto's thyroiditis confirmed with a fine needle aspiration on my thyroid. I have had hashimoto's for 7 years. Anyway, back in Ocotober I had sinus congestion and vertigo. It was a holiday so the DR. concerned that it might be an infection called in a script for me, augmentin and told me to take zyrtec.
