i have fibromyalgia amongst other complaints.fro about 2 years i have had a swollen abdomen-lumpy and tender which progressed to sore and protruding ribs.have had ct and mri scans which gave no clues.doctors seem to ignore symptons,now i have a feeling of tightness around my ribs and am sore all around them.it feels like ribs are digging in me.

I have been diagnose with fibromyalgia two an half years ago....and thanks to the wonderful Doctor that is treating me I am 90% better with medication, I take several but one of them is Gabapentin wich helps the left part of my brain work better and block the pain and this combine with Norco, my question is....why does Norco give so much!

I had only once tested my hbsag quantity since my diagnosis two years ago. The test was done a few weeks ago and came out about 17000iu/ml. In other words quite high, that should warrant treatment immediately, in my opinion, though my dumb doctors won't put me on treatment yet. But I'm going to fight them and insist that I need antiviral treatment.

When I wake up in the morning I feel absolutely horrible. It takes every ounce of energy to get out of bed some days. Over the last 10 months I have been to my GP half a dozen times. Also, you need to quit smoking if you want to have an effective treatment for your Fibromyalgia. Remember, Fibromyalgia is treatable without side effects but you need to find the right doctor and minimize all stresses.

Hi; So sorry to hear that you are suffering with this illness, it is very scary to be in pain evreyday all day!! Although some days you may get a small burst of "energy" and try to accomplish so much, only to pay for it dearly later.. I am newly diagnosed , although been suffering for 8 months and probally even yrs. I am here if you just need someone to talk too it does help.. I know that it is hard for those family members they just do not understand, unless they have themselves.

t know when something new is happening but this pain under my ribs is new and constant. My energy level is low to begin with but since this new pain my energy level is steadily going down. it takes all I can muster just to walk a block. Please help!

Hello, What types of doctors have you seen to diagnose your Fibromyalgia? Have you seen a Rheumatologist? Or did your PCP doctor diagnose your Fibro? Rheumatologist are actually the doctors who created the criteria for diagnosing Fibromyalgia and without seeing a Rheumatologist, your diagnosis may be weak if you ever were to require a medical leave or disability assistance.

I was very fatigued before treatment. I had no energy whatsoever and every time I tried to do anything, I would last only a short time and then I had to rest. I was tired all of the time. My fatigue basically disappeared after treatment. I actually noticed a change towards the end of treatment but I was still on Interferon so I was not exactly energetic, LOL.
