I have gone to a Fibromyalgia and Fatigue center and am having such a hard time getting back because it is a 4 hr. drive both ways. The supplements and IV nutrition they gave me made me fel like a million bucks but I am supposed to get these every week and haven't managed to figure this out. The doctor told me there is another alternative which are doing shots 3x a week. Has anyone done these and do they help?
There is a Fibromyalgia and Fatigue Center in Atlanta, Georgia. I think you would find all the answers you are looking for and be taken very seriously. You already know you have EBV, even though doctors don't believe in it, this is more than enough to be taken seriously at the Center. They treat all the issues including thyroid.
Many traditional doctors are about 20 years behind when it comes to EBV and need to get with the program.

I am a new patient of the Fibromyalgia and Fatigue Center in Philadelphia, PA. You do have to pay for your visits and any treatments (e.g. IV) upfront and then the center gives you the appropriate diagnostic codes and information to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. My insurance company reimbursed me for some of it, but it is still rather expensive.

Welcome. I am also in Atlanta. SelmaS above advice is right on. There are no documented chiari specialists in Atlanta, although some neuro surgeons have performed the surgery . I saw dr Morrison at north side in march and have an app't with dr wray at Piedmont this week. I also saw dr heffez in Milwaukee in may at a chiara center-he performs 3 surgeries a week. I am struggling with where to have surgery. There us another dr at Emory here in Atlanta that someone on this site saw.
Has anyone had success with IVF at the Atlanta Center for Reproductive Medicine (ACRM)???? I've just had my second failed IUI, first with clomid and then the second with letrozole and am considering skipping the 3rd recommended IUI and going straight to IVF. Maybe I'm wrong, but it seems like if IUI was going to work, it would have worked by now. I'm sure everyone on here can relate, but I'm just so disappointed and every month that goes by gets worse and worse.
Seckin and of course how wonderful he is. I also contacted the Center for Endometriosis Care in Atlanta. I would probably end up staying in either place for about a week and am thinking Atlanta would be less expensive (depending on how much flights cost). Not happy that DC does not have a true endo specialist!! Thanks again - if there are any other suggestions, I am very open to them!!
Your regular doctor can order the test to start.
You should then start with a regular endo but they are generally not qualified to treat pituitary. So find a university or larger hospital as they generally will have a pituitary center there. Atlanta has, to my knowledge, several. But I don't know how good they are.

I am not familiar with imaging centers and had to cal around....if you have a MRI facility they should be able to do CINE.
