Avatar n tn I am a 22 year old female and after doing a bit of research it sounds as though I have several symptoms that occur under fibromyalgia. I have had throughout my entire life a bizarre amount of muscle problems and pain. In recent times (last 5-6 months) I have had occasions where my body and skin hurts so much that even my shirt is hurting it. This isn't an everyday, or even every week, event but it has happened probably 5 or 6 time.

Avatar n tn Have had ana screen several times during the monitoring and treatment of Fibromyalgia but also seemed to include autoimmune reactions. When I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia my count was moderate and also described as speckled. Our counts are a diferent system to yours where the say normal ana <200 and my ANA was 400. Avatar f tn That sounds sortof similar to what a friend of mine complained about and was diagnosed with fibromyalgia. Which could explain some of your psychological symptoms as well.

665881 tn?1248926997 If the MRI and CT scan did not show MS, it is likely not MS. Although there is an illness called A-typical MS. An inner ear disorder would not cause the pain in other body locations. It could by Lyme, as this is difficult to detect with the routine bloodwork tests. The best advice I can think of is for you to continue seeing a specialist (neurologist, rheumatologist or FMS/CFS) so they can follow your condition and symptoms.
Avatar f tn Do you think Australia will eventually use rapid hiv tests to combat the hiv rates in Australia. I know Australia has great resources but read that they have not implemented point of care rapid tests.
Avatar n tn I frst experienced Upper back pain from may 08 - mid septemberr 08. I am not 100 % why I had the pain. I saw every doctor imagineable (orthopedist, rheumatologist, acupuncturist, physiatrist, myofascial trigger point therapist, massage therapists) Not much helped but it went away towards the end of september) My only symptoms were upper back pain. The muscles were very tight and knotted.I was not fatigued and sleeping was not an issue.
