fibromyalgia

Avatar f tn Hello everybody , im fighting fibromyalgia, im not completly cured ,but I fell MUCH MUCH better, and the best part im not taking any kind of medicines.
Avatar n tn What types of things have you tried? We basically follow a GFCF diet at home due to fibromyalgia and ASDs in our family. We got a mill to make our own rice flour. We also use masa. Milk wise, we use rice milk and soy milk. We have come up with recipes for cookies, pancakes, spaghetti sauce, chili, banana bread, etc. We also do tacos with corn tortillas and sometimes have 'beanie tacos' (that my kids really like) where we put refried beans, onions, and sauce on the corn tortillas.
Avatar f tn I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia. I am 25 years old and it is almost crippling for me. Right now I am on Ultram and zoloft. My dr wants me to go see a rheumatologist. I am so upset about the diagnosis because I am so young. I have little kids that I want to chase around at the park and play with but it is a struggle just to get out of bed.
Avatar f tn Anyone know of any good websites with diabetic friendly recipes? My mom has diabetes and I'm trying to help her out with a few meals.
Avatar f tn lol I stay googling all kinds of recipes and stuff. From Chinese foods, to soups, to Mexican foods, salads, Italian foods, quick meals, ALL sorts of things. lol Mainly because I crave so many different foods. Nowadays I'm always cooking. I used to NEVER cook. lol Am I the only one?
Avatar f tn Sounds like Fibromyalgia to me. There is few research into FM and diets, but some think that FM might be caused by leaky gut, or it is associated with it. I also have a friend in the US with FM. She told me that since I made her switch to the special carbohydrate diet a few months ago, her flares are not as often, and not as severe anymore. If you are up to it, google it, start with the intro diet (this is important), and then try to stay on the diet for 30 days.
Avatar m tn I have Multiple Chemical Sensitivity (MCS), so I have all these symptoms and some others when I'm around any amount of chlorine, so that means I can't be around public pools either. There are natural cleaning and disinfecting alternatives you can use in place of bleach that you can find recipes for on a site called care2.com. Just use the site's search engine for "natural cleaning recipes" or "green cleaning recipes".

1353650 tn?1429463374 Donjoe341 is absolutely right. I too have these other co-infections that my doctor first of all cannot discover. I have had a fungal infection for over 2 years and tested twice and both times they came back negative. I went to see a naturopath for help with allergies and she tested me and sure enough I have a fungal infection. They even gave me the name of the particular fungal. It is called Scopulariopsis and I haven't had it treated yet.

1202943 tn?1347840652 For recipe ideas, google Gluten Free Club. The lady has already tried and failed at various recipes before posting recipes that work. You can also just google Gluten Free Recipes. There are insane numbers of resources available now. You do need to understand about binders such as xanthan gum and guar gum that need to be used to make gluten free bread and pastry items work. I wasn't able to use the quinoa pasta, though, because I am also very intolerant to corn.
Avatar f tn Look at the website Weelicious she has crock pot recipes and all her recipes always turn out. The bbq chicken in the crock pot is delicious.
Avatar f tn French toast casserole (totally unhealthy but sooooo good) Obviously for breakfast though And another breakfast-esq Egg, potato, peppers, cheese and your choice of meat or none. Pretty much anything you want in it. Again found simple recipes online But they both required being prepped a night before and then having to set in the fridge overnight, but then baking for not so long.
Avatar f tn Lady's please shear some of the recipes you use during pregnancy. I feel empty or ideas sometimes plus I don't really feel hungry at all.
19087390 tn?1474306677 So I've gained too much weight already and I'm lonely 22 weeks and I can't cook or shall I say I don't cook but what are some easy simple recipes that are healthy so that I don't gain too much more weight for the rest of my pregnancy?
172023 tn?1334672284 Lately I've been boring people by putting recipes in my Journal. I get a lot of feedback on it, so people seem to be interested. If we had a Healthy Cooking Forum, I could resume using my journal to record my controversial thoughts and opinions. Anyway, since this is a health oriented site, it would seem fitting to do this. Plus, you'll get a lot of hits with people searching the internet for recipes. Win/Win.
Avatar f tn Okay I need some new recipes. I'm tired of eating just about the same thing all the time. I don't want my child eating the same stuff when he's older. So if you know a website that has good food or you have a recipe. Let me know!
Avatar n tn You can specify vegan recipes. The majority of their recipes are vegetarian, but if you take it one step further and go for the vegan recipes, you'll be able to avoid the dairy and the eggs. Or, look at the vegetarian recipes that call for milk and substitute with the rice milk. I would suggest going easy on the eggs, eventhough they're not actually dairy. Your daughter isn't allergic to them, because eggs aren't from lactating mammals.
