fibromyalgia

Hello all. I have just started to have pain during intercourse over the past couple months. it's not every time that I have sex, but it is really painful when I do. Has anyone else experienced this?
I have been having and extremely disgusting odor and wetness during intercourse forthe past two months. I have been tested and do not have an STD and have been with the same (and only) partner for 7 months. I have not changed my diet. No pain, or lumps, bumps, rashes, nothing else out of the ordinary. I have not made it to see my doctor due to scheduling problems ( I am extremely busy). I was weondering if anyone had an suggestions? Any advice is greatly appreciated.
Just recently while having intercourse I have experience severe chest pain. Both occurancense happen during missionary style intercourse with no sever exhaustion. The first occurance3 was severe yet not as severe as the second. The pain generates from the left side and pulls toward the right restraining my breathintg. The first episode last only about a minute. The second episode was three times intense and in larger area. SAme senerio starting from left side pulling to the right side.
It is not so painful that it interupts my orgasm or even has me wince in pain, but I do feel the discomfort. There is absolutely no pain or discomfort during intercourse with my b/f, but the discomfort does seem to start as I begin to orgasm, and it becomes a little more intense as I reach maximum pleasure (the peak of my orgasm). This has now happened every time I have orgasmed in the last week. Has anyone else had this happen and if so, do you know what the cause might be?

I told him everything is fine...yes we have and no there isn't any pain. The thing is, it's good but not often. Hardly ever in fact. I just don't have any desire to do so. I LOVE my husband and I feel bad...I know it's difficult for him. He is so patient and knows I have a lot on my plate. I have my #3 chemo tomorrow, we have toddlers (29 mos & 17mos), & the anniversary of my moms passing is 11/14 (2yrs). I miss her and I hate that she's not here with me.
I can't go on like this. I feel like I am miserable more than I am not. I have cramping and pain during intercourse during ovulation, followed by extreme irritability and extreme bloating, topped off by the symptoms described above once I finally start my period. So basically I feel good for about a week! I'll let you know if I find any relief!

Amand on FM and vulvodynia who's well known in general on FM. It's a condition of vaginal pain that can happen with intercourse or even without it, isn't STD related, and for which there often aren't obvious/testable indicators. I hope you can find better treatments for it than you have now - hope this helps.

I have had chronic pain for several years and been married even longer. The issue that comes up is when my husband and I are intimate it causes me severe pain. We have tried different positions and techniques and they all cause some form of increase in pain.I will probably be in pain for the rest of my life and as much as I love my husband I dread intimacy. Sometimes I feel like if he truely loved me he wouldnt be willing to hurt me.

Hey all i was wondering if anyone here has felt joint pain due to anxiety? I am getting really worried. I had some other symptoms (stomach aches etc.) so i was going across the internet..and of course leukemia came up. So suddenly i was scared I have leukemia, I have had joint and bone pain that subsides when I concentrate on something else. Has anyone had this? I have doctor's appointment and blood test in two days. I dont know if i can wait that long!!

I also have this same pain. Sometimes it is so bad, I have to excuse myself to go to the bathroom just to cry at work. I feel horrible, and I can't explain to people why I am so miserable because I don't want to just come out and say "it's because of herpes". If anyone asks, I just tell them I have fibromyalgia. The pain goes all the way down from my lower back, to my butt, all the way down my legs to my knees.
I'm 26 years old and have been very active for past Year, like Hardcore working out for 5 times a week, My sport games during the weekend which also includes plenty of running. When i first notice the pain it was in the morning after i got out of the shower and tried to wear my boxers and i lifted my leg to wear my boxer i felt a sharp pain. or after when i bend over to wear my socks. than there was nothing all day long. and now for past 2 month it's getting worse.
I also get occassional sharp pains around my stomache area - on the left and right side. During intercourse with my husband I get sharp pains as well inside my uterus on the right side, probably around my ovary area. Keeping all this in mind, I'm wondering if this is due to stress on top of normal back pain, or, if perhaps something else has been happening that has led to back pain as a symptom.
I can certainly relate to your frustration as well as your symptoms. Mine began nearly 3 months ago. Pain sometimes burning pain in my thighs, genitals. Itching as well and that clammy feeling. For me though this all began exactly a week after having sex. I have been to my family doctor and 2 urologists. Have been tested and retested for STD's. None present. Was curious as to whether you had seen any folliculitis(infected hairs) anywhere below the waist. These can somtimes be painful.
All the OB could tell me was vaginismus but it didn't explain the sharp pains when I wasn't even having sex! Which has been a very long time and I am still getting pain! I get this pain during urination too. And it's all over the place in comparison to my menstrual cycle. I'm glad I'm not alone!
