Patients may also feel numbness, tingling, or unusual “crawling” sensations in the arms and legs.
Take epson salt baths this helps with the baseball bat syndrome, lol, I take ibprofin and acetomenaphin alternating when its very bad, take gabopentin only when I have to for the twitching, wich I feel in my legs, back and arms. Light excersise helps but dont over due it. I have a very stressful job, when I feel the pain getting horrific I go hide and meditate or pray. Its all about finding what works for you.
PVCs Tachycardia (hospitalized for 4 days) Diarrhea which has an IBS pattern (only in the morning) Gas Heartburn Acid Reflux Abdominal Pain Headaches Vision changes (spots that look like a camera flash went off as well as eyes tiring quickly while reading and getting blurry) Extreme menstrual cramps Sinusitis Dizziness and balance problems Sleep disturbances, Waking up every few hours Extreme fatigue (some days worse than others.
I went to the doctors in February with horrible muscle pain in my legs and arms. He did a b-12 which i was low a few months back. Came in with arm pain and not feeling good. He also checked my thyroid and D levels. My thyroid was off a few months ago also but is fine now. But the D test came back low. in the mean time I couldn't take it and went to the rhemy whom I just saw in Janurary.
I had so much pain that I could hardly crawl in the door yesterday. The pain was everywhere upper back, legs, hips, upper arms and neck. It seems like this condition happens when I have not much pain and try to get everything I need to do in a couple days and then the next day I cannot move. On a good day if I sit for more than 20-30 minutes I stiffen up and takes a while to move again at all. My knees joints are very painful.
Following then onwards, I have experince pain trobbing at the back, in between the joint of knees, in between the hip joint, upper and lower both of the legs, at the joints of the arms, in between fingers, at the palm of hands and feet. Am i suffering from fibromyalgia? Do i need to do a full body check-up for diagnosis?
Sleep is essential especially for fibromyalgia or any type of pain. If you can get 6 hours minimum you can better deal with the pain. Have you ever had a sleep study? I requested one and I have sleep apnea. I also take trazadone. It is an older sleep medication that is taken at bedtime. You and your doctor can decide if taking something would help. To me your top list would be your headaches, not sleeping and pain.
I have many issues and asked rheumatologist if I could have fibromyalgia, she said I don't fit criteria what do you think? Joint issues, muscles pains, sleepless nights, depression, cognitive issues, brain fog, always tired, IBS, Gerd, cramps in hands, hips and feet, temperature varies from boiling hot to cold, weakness in muscles and twitching, difficulty walking I'm unsteady on my feet and that's just a few of my symptoms.
My back neck arms legs and feet hurt all the time. There is tingling pain and sometimes I yell out in pain because it feels like an electric shock has just went through me. I wake up really stiff and hurting. I have to take as sleeping pill at night and my husband says i cry out in my sleep all the time. Anyone have an opinion?
Sometimes so severe in both arms, i'm unable to drive. Have you been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia? Was it in both arms- I have heard that the heart can also have this effect on the arms. Especially in women. Get checked, please. If nothing else- it'll ease your mind.

This week the cool weather gave me an horrible bursitis pain in my hip and also increased the pain all around my body caused by fibromyalgia. Had to have cortisone shot in my hip..couldn't take the pain anymore and not a single pill was able to give me any relief. Hoping the cortisone shot starts working ASAP.

I have had the "fog" but more bothersome is the pain. My pain is worse in my arms, but hurts all the way to my feet. I think you have to deal with the symptoms that are hardest for you, using a variety of approaches. I try "energy conservation" where I do everything upstairs, then everything downstaris, etc.. It helps me get some rest from the pain I have when I move. Good Luck, and know everyone is thinking of you.
I had a neurosurgeon friend look at the EMG results and he said no signs of ALS. Since that time in the past 8 weeks I have very bad pain in my neck, shoulders, and arms. I have some pain in my collarbone. My low back and hips hurt too. My legs ache, primarily in my knees, on and off but this has been the case for most of my life. I also have RLS on and off since the birth of my first child.
Hi, I am wondering if fibromyalgia can be missed for years before being diagnosed? when I was a kid up until now I have always had muscle pain. Charlie horses, cramps, tingling in my feet & swelling. No doctor ever said anything to my parents or me. Now I'm 34 haven't been able to work for the last 4 wks due to muscle pain, cramps so bad I'm unable to walk, confusion so bad it interfered with my work, my immune system is basically null & void.
My body lays down extra fascial tissue which creates more pain. I think for fibromyalgia there are certain pain points that must be tender in order to be diagnosed. Otherwise I would think they feel very similar.
Getting a proper delta sleep has improved my muscular pain-not that I don't have the pain anymore but it is not as exruciatingly painful now. Its great to hear you have a new doctor who seems to be giving you all the right messages. I have a great relationship with my rheumatologist ever since she said to me "Look at me Mary, look at me straight into my eyes. I WANT TO TELL YOU-I KNOW YOU ARE in PAin!" We haven't looked back since then-almost ten years ago.
At this point only this weird pain is causing any anxiety. Also have fatigue..that just got really severe along with this pain. Fibro pain is deeper and in the joints not just on the skin is that correct?
my Physican order me a prescription of G abapentin i have to admit since taking this medicine most of the pain has gone away but i still feel pain in my right thigh everyday and my arms and some in my back but i can still do most of my MAID work lol...
I have stinging pain (feels sort of like jellyfish stings) on my upper arms and shoulders that comes and goes. Sometimes there are very tiny itchy pimple type bumps and sometimes it's where the bumps used to be. It's painful and nothing seems to relieve it. The doctor's best guess is eczema. I feel like it's nerve related since I've also had nerve pain pop up in my feet. when should I consult a neurologist? Or should I just accept it's from the fibromyalgia?
Sometimes I will have a period of days or weeks and I feel almost normal. I will then bottom out. I go into severe pain in my body, back, arms legs ankles and wrist amd with this pain comes sweling. It feels as though my limbs weigh a hundred pounds and I can hardly make it to the bathroom. This goes on for days. The last time this happened was this past Monday and I am still having trouble just moving around. I think my kids feel that I am pretending, but I am not.
About a month ago I started experiencing pain in my arms and legs. I am not sure whats going on and i am really worried mainly because I woke up one night and my arm was numb, I tried squeezing it and I felt nothing. Any idea as to what this is? This discussion is related to Tingling and Pain in arms and hands.
At night time I often find it hard to sleep because of a dull ache in my arms and legs (2-4 times a week). The pain is not always in all four. Sometimes its just my arms or just my legs or just one leg. Last night it was both arms and I woke up at least once an hour from it. I do fall a lot. I have fallen down the stairs at least 7 times this pass year and I have always been clumsy so it could be from injury but I have never broken a bone (I swear my bones must be made of metal).
