It is so hard to get up in the moring because of the pain I have to crawl to the shower to have the warm water loosen me so I can do my fibro stretches in order to function. I have read some of the people who take narcs for the pain. Are you aware that narcs can make it worse? There have to be some other medication out there to help with fibro without the side effects of narcs.

I have had several doctor friends (one a DO, an orthopidist and even the nuero I have seen) tell me that Fibromyalgia is not a diagnoses. Because there is no test that proves that that is what you have or even tells you what the cause is from. And that after that diagnoses is made other doctors will not treat pain as any thing other than that when it could be something, but they just tend not to look.

I completely agree with wonko. If we go by the "textbook" case of Fibromyalgia then I would have to say, no, Fibromyalgia is not progressive, but everyone's experiences with the disease seems to be very different than the "textbook.
