1184051 tn?1264435308 My symptoms are Headaches, Fatigue, widespread pain, and sleep problems. I had every test that you could think of. They all came back negative. Alot of doctors don't take fibromyalgia serious, but then on the plus side alot of them do. I have been lucky enough to find a doctor who takes fibromyalgia completely serious. I live in Kentucky, and I see a doctor in North Carolinia. With the correct treatment, you can feel better. - I hope everything works out. Good luck.
Avatar n tn Sinusitis, refractive errors of the eye, migraine, cluster headaches, brain tumors, high blood pressure, tension headaches, temporal arteritis, pinched cervical spinal nerve, poor or disturbed sleep etc are several causes of headaches. Dental pain and ear ache can cause similar symptoms. It is difficult to diagnose the cause of headaches and body-aches on net. Do discuss this with your doctor and get yourself examined. Take care!
Avatar f tn The medicine I'm on is making it hard for me to get to sleep at night. I fall asleep, but not as easily as I should and then I never reach a very deep sleep. It's like I'm always aware of what's going on through the night-in a very light sleep. Then I'll toss and turn most of the night. Does anyone have any non medication suggestions for sleeping better? I tried Lavender oil last night (On my pillow) and I actually think it helped a little. Any other ideas?
Avatar m tn I started taking Trazadone for sleep and it is giving me headaches. I cut it from 150 mg to 75 mg and that helped some. Will the headaches eventually go away?
Avatar f tn Recently the symptoms have been lasting 2.5 weeks. I feel extremely nauseaus, tired, headaches, sore burning eyes, and the worst is the pain in my body. Mostly the pain is in my lower back and neck, but my entire body hurts. My symptoms are the worst at night, and sometimes earlier depending on how much I have exerted myself. I still have an appetite, and eating does not seem to change the nausea or other symptoms.

Avatar f tn I have mild sleep apnea per a sleep test done a few years ago. I have been hospitalized a few times mostly for the chest/ribcage pain and back pain but they just say its Fibromyalgia or most recently Chostochondritis from Fibro. I have had these headaches on and off for years and an MRI done just two years ago showed a muscle spasm at the base of my neck/head. Over the past year my symptoms and pain have become more extreme.
Avatar m tn For the past several months i have been feeling extremely spaced out almost as if i am half in a dream, headaches, foggy thinking, sinus pressure, eye pain, tired all the time, and body pain (which i believe to be the fibromyalgia). This all happens about 5 minutes after waking up. I do not sleep too well, but when i wake up in the middle of the night i do not have these feelings i am completely awake and feel normal (this is the ONLY time i feel normal). This is severely impacting my life.
Avatar f tn Adolescent Sudden Chronic Headaches. They go away and comes back. How do I get rid of them?? What are they caused by? Other symptoms include: Back pain, neck pain, fatigue, lack of sleep, sometimes I have excessive thirst, eye pain, bad eyesight, see diffrent colors sometimes, and I'm hungry a lot. My step dad had Acoustic Nuermoa, and that happens to like 1 in 100,000 people or something like that, so I'm positive I don't have it. There is no way my family is that unlucky.
Avatar f tn I like you had all the tests, MRIs never showed the excruiating shoulder blade pain I was living with or the bone crushing lower back pain, i have the gamut of symptoms sciatic pain, the joint stiffness, the lack of sleep, skin sensitivity, headaches, leg weakness. Let my story be a tale of caution to you as you navigate finding out what is causing your pain.
Avatar m tn I have some problems going to sleep but after I do get to sleep I never want to get up. When I do get up I feel unrested and tired the whole day. The pain in my back is making it hard to do housework and my job. I am a dog groomer. The chiropractor is adjusting me hoping to help my headaches and side and back pain. One hip is higher than the other so my spine is a little curved and she is going to try and fix that. anyway, what do you think?

Avatar m tn I just had an EEG and that came out normal and they have done several MRI's but at that time I was not having memory loss and halucinations(I don't know what to call them) This weekeed was unbarable due to I guess the Fibrimyalgia my whole body aches. My memory is getting worse and I think one day I gonna go crazy. I can't seem to do anything right. I seem to forget everything. Work is getting worse for me I have to check my work over and over and I still find mistakes.

Avatar f tn I myself am going to have nerve burning on my neck done in about 2 hours to see if it will help my headaches. I have been off/on pain meds for almost 6 years, so I understand the fear that even tho the pain meds don't really work, if I am off them, how much pain will I have to endure? I have migraines, three other types of headaches that were diagnosed in addition to migraines, 4 neck discs arthritic and/or bulging and fibromyalgia. I understand pain. I am tired of the pain myself.
1679858 tn?1346765181 ENT Consult then pain management consult. Sleep apnea may be contributing. Sleep study will NOT show CSF or blood flow issues. As for the pain, maybe fibromyalgia or Myofascial Pain Syndrome? just an idea.
1838963 tn?1318496884 Hi there, headaches and joint pains are suggestive of fibromyalgia. The defining symptoms of fibromyalgia are chronic, widespread pain, heightened pain in response to touch, tingling skin, prolonged muscle spasms, weak limbs, muscle twitching etc. other systemic problems are functional bowel disturbances, sleep disturbances, palpitations, etc. brain fog, short term and long term memory loss, depression etc are also seen. Treatment is only limited and directed to symptomatic relief.
Avatar n tn It seems that once a month or every two months I have had a headache on the left side of my head. Not debilitating, it feels like pressure, some pain, sometimes my ear hurts(have been looked at by ENT) and my arm and leg on that side sometimes feel strange. Not numb, just strange. I have Hashimoto's and fibromyalgia. I became worried today because when I lifted something heavy the migraine pain felt worse but has subsided.
Avatar f tn Plus I get a lot of headaches, almost everyday. I suffer from severe distention in the stomach and constipation as well. The distention increases as the day progresses, and I burp a lot in the evenings, plus after meals. Tylenol / Ibuprofen does help with the headaches. I had an endoscopy and colonscopy done recently - they found nothing except for some polyps in the colon - which they said was not the cause for the symptons.
