Avatar m tn HI...I am working with a Dr on MedHelp for an exercise program for us!! As soon as I know it is doable I will let u all in on it... Now as for a diet, I have a few questions...do u know if u have a thyroid issue? were u checked lately for an autoimmune issue? How about Ehlers-Danlos? Do u ever have issues with IBS? Sorry for the questions, but they will help in answering ur question.
Avatar f tn m afraid my new diet plan is not helping. I now eat alot of fruits and veggie and only have one serving of meat a day (usually a chicken cutlet the size of my palm). I run almost every alternate day and cycle occasionally. The average distance I run each time is between 5km to 7km; sometimes 8km on a good day. I usually complete my 5km runs in 40-45 minutes. Do you think I need to increase my meat intake to build more muscles so I can burn off more fat?? Thank You.
4861077 tn?1360156139 I don't know what type of pain clinic you are being referred to. If it is the one I am thinking of, they are pretty good. Unfortunately, they don't have a magic wand to stop all the pains, but they teach you relaxation, gentle exercise, diet, communication, and lots more. The one I was referred to ran for a 12 weeks with weekly sessions. If you are still at work, your hand problems may be due to repetition.

Avatar f tn Be careful to eat balanced diet. Avoid taking sugars and fat in your diet. Losing weight is a slow process and issued not expect body changes before 2 to 3 months. I hope this helps.
Avatar n tn Make sure you get some exercise since exercise builds muscle and muscle burns fat. Any type of exercise will do, as long as it's something you enjoy and will stick with.
Avatar f tn re still young so you better be mindful of what you eat and see to it that they are healthy and good. With mindful eating, you can discipline yourself until you eventually go into a certain diet plan.
Avatar m tn I am basically posting to see if what I am saying is true, do you indeed need a diet plan tailored to you and an exercise program tailored to your specific needs? Thanks in advance.
Avatar n tn You can reverse and lower your level with proper nutrition, proper body weight, and daily physical exercise. This includes cholesterol control too. Did you know that a healthy diet for someone with hypothyroidism resembles one for t2 diabetics? This would include natural foods, whole grains, fruits, and lots of vegetables and a good supply of seafood. Good luck.

Avatar n tn You need to mix up your workouts weekly, otherwise your body gets used to them. Also, diet is more important than exercise. You can't outrun poor nutrition. CARB UP! Complex carbs are good for you--whole grains, sprouted grains, brown rice, etc... You need high carb pre-workout and high protein post workout.

Avatar n tn Have you talked to your doctor about a weight loss plan? Not only can your doctor make sure that you're healthy enough for regular physical activity, but she/he can also suggest nutrition options and workouts that suit your lifestyle and level of fitness. Talking with your doctor gives you an outline and someone to report your success to in order to stay motivated. Plan long and short term goals to help you stay motivated and see results.
Avatar f tn Exercise is one of the best remedies for fibromyalgia pain. weaning off the norco will be more mental than anything, but restless legs and generalized pain are some symptoms of decreasing the dose.
