i sometime have a kind of dull pain that comes over my body from the neck down it last for around a half hour could that be Fibromyalgia can it show in blood work i am 43 i get chest pain also

We have started acupuncture which has been quite good so far, his pain has reduced. He is now missing lots of school, originally due to fatigue and chest pain and last week due to nausea. Are the doctors correct in their diagnosis, can anyone suggest a way forward or shed any light on a similar experience?

m glad you asked the question about chest pain. I get chest pain so extreme that the doctors thought I was having a heart attack. Thankfully no but they put me through hell to find out. I never want to go through all that again. I never thought of Fibro. being the cause. Have you heard anything more about it?

Pleuritis and Pulmonary embolism are other possibilities causing shortness of breath with chest pain. Another possibility that can explain the pain is pericarditis. However all these conditions cause other symptoms too like fever, cough, breathlessness etc. Hope this helps. Do discuss this with your doctor and get yourself examined. I am 35 and have chest pain, arm and leg pains. I am back and forth to the ER and family practice only to hear I have anxiety and acid reflux. I often get knots in my right chest and then heavy feelings of pressure and tightness. I have a hard time swallowing at times as well.

and i was put on lyrica started off one at night and then incresed to 2, one in the moring and at night was getting very bad chest pain .. so then i was on just one at night so i had to stop tonight all toghether again because i am still getting chest pain in left side .. doctor then today put me on inderal 10 mg then didnt really work as i suffer from anxiety to have panic attacks.. so she gave me inderal 80mg ... but i dunno what to do .. or can any one give me advice?

Besides the many heart probs that present with chest pain, sometimes certain chest or high back pain is gall bladder related. Just an extra thought.
