Can you please tell me what causes red flashes in the eyes when you blink? For example when you blink its not the normal black which because you blink so fast you don't even notice but its replaced by a brilliant red. The first time even when not blinking all I could see was red as if your looking through red glass.This has happened several times and the lasted was today.
At this time, there is no "cure" for fibromyalgia - one main reason being is they have not determined exactly what causes fibromyalgia. I usually find in hypothyroidism information that it causes weight gain. I have always had the opposite problem of not being able to gain weight.
Except for the past couple years my weight has been where it should be and stays pretty constant. Can you have hypothyroidism if you don't have a weight gain problem?
Sounds like Fibromyalgia, used to be called Fibrositis. Nobody knows exactly what causes it - but the person who has it knows it isn't all in their head. Since both conditions share similar symptoms, can an expert tell me if one can have both conditions at the same time, both are more or less the same, are interrelated... or if one has an elevated TSH, this is only a question of the thyroid gland and other endocrine " partners " ??? Have you ever considered Fibromyalgia? When I first started getting sick, that was one of the first symptoms. I had it in my head and legs. It was mostly dismissed by everyone.
- Helycobacter pylori infection of the stomach
- Gastroparesis
- Small intestinal bacterial overgrowth.
Another possible cause is food poisoning with an intestinal parasite giardia.

Well, without a detailed clinical evaluation it would be difficult to determine the cause of your symptoms. Possible causes that may need to be considered include GI infections, inflammations, gastritis, GERD, GI motility issues, dietary causes, neuro-muscular causes, chest wall inflammation, costochondritis, hormonal/ endocrine issues, micronutrient deficiencies, growths/ masses etc.
ve got one with enough Vit D, Magnesium and Potassium. Fibromyalgia causes muscle pain and sometimes it can be so intense it feels like a bruise at times. I know because that is how I've described it to my doctor. You may want to look into Mitochondrial Disease. That is something I've been doing a lot of research on these days. You can google it. For the past maybe two-two and a half months I've been dealing with a lot of symptoms. Lately I've realized I always have a fluctuating fever. It will be normal, a low grade fever and even up to 101.
