re are related, but I do have fibromyalgia and hip bursitis in both hips. I had surgery on one of my hips for the bursitis and a tear in my hip and let me tell you it did not help my bursitis at all, it helped the tear but that was about it. The doctor didn't order me physical therapy after my surgery and made my bursitis worse!! (he was to lazy to call my insurance), he is not my doctor anymore!!

Yes I have bursitis in my right hip, also was shown in MRI that is was bursitis and arthritis. It hurts and has flares as well. Sometimes it keeps me from sleeping well. I have had several shots in hip, one for bursitis with out XRay used and one with Xray and sedation. Both times it helped, but has come back on and off after a few months. Just a shot in my doctors office into my sore area was a big relief!

Hi, I have fibromyalgia and have had bursitis in both shoulders which were treated with injections, I’ve recently had a flare up of my fibro and now seem to be left with upper arm pain and fatigue and I’m also finding if I don’t sit with my neck supported, I get a lot of pain and tiredness. I’m wondering if this pain is my fibromyalgia or could it be something else. I have upped my gabapentin to 300mg twice a day.

My dr. slso thinks I am low in Vitamin D , do you thing this deficiency has anything to do w/ these muscler spasms ..... I had a shoulder decompression and rotator cuff tear repair about 5 years ago, A few months ago I had a ultrasound which showed a full thickness tear, bursitis and osteoarthritis, went to see a ortho surgeon who then got me to have a MRI scan. The scan showed no tear but alot of fluid in the shoulder, he called it a angry shoulder? Is it possible for a MRI to be wrong? If not what is with the fluid in the shoulder? can someone please help.

This has been going on for quite some time and I am hoping that someone can help me. It first started with a mild aching pain in my hips. It would be worse after working on my feet all day but wasn't unbearable or even really something I would complain about. I am 39 year old female and I was diagnosed with iliopsoas bursitis in left hip after 4 months of testing for other dieseases. I finally asked for a MRI and it picked it up. Disability case taking foarever, cannot work, memory is gone.... etc. what is the connection between both meds?

I am 50 and feel like i am 80. I take more meds then my parents and my mother in law who is 89. Do you work? I am off right now , i worked in a pharmacy my boss the owner was very good to me and would tell me when i had done too much. He sold the pharmacy a year ago so i am off right now . My husband is good to me but does not understand at all he wants me off all the meds. I try to tell him i need the meds to live.

I know how miserable nausea can be along with pain. I too suffer from alot of pain and nausea with my Fibro and RA and I too have Gerd plus IBS.

After a year of misdiagnosis and relying heavily on my left leg. I have now developed greater trochanteric bursitis on my left leg and yes I can concur that I have tingling in my left foot now but related to the swelling. These doctors are unwilling to listen and assume too much.

ve got a form of fibro that only affects one in every ten thousand patients. All the hospitals have now discharged me and have left my pain relief up to my GP, who I might add is the best GP I've ever had. I'm now classed as wheelchair bound as walking is too painful. I just wondered if there was anyone else who had fibro this bad and could get in touch with me. My fiance is my full-time carer and my 18 year old son helps when necessary as well.

I am now seeing a rhuematologist who has treated me for SI joint pain with cortisone and lido injections and now they say I have hip bursitis and have been treated with more injections.I have even cut my hours down at work because of the pain. I am waiting to see if this works now. It is just so frustrating to keep suffering and not be able to do daily living like I want to. If anyone else out there has any more ideas or suggestions I would really appreciate it. Thanks all.

I have GERD and had ulcers in the past. It seems that when I stop taking this med, the pain returns and it looks like I'll be on Nexium for a very long time. I'm VERY concerned about the long-term effects of using this med for such a long time. Also, I have several illnesses i.e. systemic lupus, fibromyalgia, GERD, Sjogrens, bursitis, etc. By the way, the Nexium pill I take doesn't look like any of the pictures you have posted. Thank you. Within 20 days, I had unexplained swelling of bursitis on both my feet and stiffness in knees (i did have similar swelling in just 1 foot 6 months ago). I saw online that HIV can cause joint swelling and bursitis? Is that possible as I am very worried as my other rheumatological tests are normal except mild inflammation in body.
