Avatar n tn I have used various anti-histimines and nasal steroid sprays with some success. However, my biggest problem now is having had very puffy eyes for the last week, no redness or itchiness, just swollen eyelids. I have seen 2 doctors, who have given me eye drops and Loratadine and then Fexofenadine, but nothing is helping. I'm getting to the end of my tether, please help!

Avatar m tn Would anyone know the difference between Piriton and Fexofenadine? Which is stronger?
1102792 tn?1285925260 Hi, You see whenever a person is exposed to an allergen, it induces an allergic reaction in the person if the person is sensitive to it. This allergic reaction induces an increase in heart rate which is a part & parcel of allergic response and give rise to the feeling of chest pain & disturbed rhythm. Hence, the only way to tackle it is by taking anti-allergic drugs like cetrizine/fexofenadine & to avoid the allergen as far as possible. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care.
