1431138 tn?1294566894 I was just wondering cause a friend of mine is 12 weeks and said they told her there were girl parts today at her ultrasound. I think that's way too early to tell so I was just wondering.
7620634 tn?1392949593 Well according to my ultrasound I'm measuring 7 weeks exactly. The doctor wasn't concerned so I'm not worried about it right now. But everything looks great! Strong heartbeat at 146bpm. It was amazing to hear the heartbeat and see the flicker.
Avatar f tn Is this normal to not see any fetal pole or heart at this stage? The ultrasound tech said she wouldnt put me at 5 weeks 5 days.
1339501 tn?1285439404 My HCG had gone from 7500 to 16000 in 48 hours and from my LMP I should have been 7 weeks 6 days, but the u/s showed just a sac, no yolk sac, no fetal pole, no heartbeat. I was online constantly researching u/s's, fetal development, and what I should have seen (the fetal pole, the yolk sac). Almost everything I read online pointed towards miscarriage, or me having my dates wrong (which is impossible because the last time I had sex was the given conception date).
Avatar f tn -) I felt flutters with my second pregnancy (this one lol) at 9 weeks already. By 12 weeks when I had my nuchal translucency ultrasound she was moving all over the place tech had to take her time to get all the measurements lol bc she moved so much haha.
670260 tn?1231560840 i read the bulletins about what fetal development should be at but they all very so much from site to site that I still don't have a clear understanding. i know that probably sound nieve but I just want to make sure that I am covering all bases and that nothing goes unchecked or undetected. Thanks!
Avatar f tn I had this happen with my son. At my first appointment I was told that I was 12 almost 13 weeks. We couldn't here the heart beat so the hey did an ultrasound and found out that I was 8 weeks. I got pregnant right before my next period.
Avatar f tn Yes I have with my last to pregnancies. I was worried too. Just give it more time with this one they didn't see a fetal pole til I was 12 weeks. If the sac is growing every thing should be fine try not to worry.
Avatar f tn Hi, I'm 6 weeks pregnant at the moment and i thought everything was going find until i got a call from my hospital telling me they needed to schedule me for an earlier appointment because when reviewing my ultrasounds they saw a problem with the fetus development. does anyone have any idea what this can mean? I would really appreciate it if you can help.
Avatar n tn I had an ultrasound today and they show a fetal pole measuring 6.3 weeks, but were not able to detect a fetal heart tone. The tech seemed skeptical, but after reviewing the transvaginal ultrasound my doctor said that she would like to wait another week and perform another ultrasound and go from there. I still have all the symptoms, and two weeks ago there was just a sac no visiable fetal pole. Is there still hope?
Avatar f tn They thought I was 12 weeks along when i had my first ultrasound but the baby only measured 9 weeks but that's because I ovulated late. Im irregular so I figured calculating it from my period would be wrong. So when she said the baby only measured 9 weeks i wasnt shocked. Have you only had one ultrasound? You said something about not showing growth since last 1 week..what do you mean? Did you have another ultrasound before and now this one and it didn't grow since the last ultrasound?
Avatar f tn i had my doctors appointment today the doc afformed me i was 6wks 3days today at the time of my first ultra sound i was approx 5wk 5days no heartbeat only yolk sak and development begfining so the doc said this was normal and heartbeats are usually detected in wk six or even wk seven the nurse tried to say there may only ever be a yolk sac and no bub but the doc and the lady who performed the ultrasound said no heartbeat or fetal pole can be normal at the early stage of five wks now im confused
Avatar f tn they dont want the baby to be to big...and the ultrasound most people have to check the fetal size is a fetal size and development ultrasound to see how your baby is developing and so im pretty sure that if they were concerd about the development and baby not being fully developed they wouldnt change the due date.
8171562 tn?1408628833 22 weeks today, I'm excited we've made it to this point. Yet, I'm anxious for Thursday to come, we go back in for another ultrasound to check baby's heart. Please I ask that you send positive thoughts (or prayers, if you pray) our way. Thank you.
Avatar n tn Dont' worry about the size its not way off and let baby have a chance to grow - besides our dates could be "off" up to 2weeks (don't forget ovulation and implantation time ). You saw a sac and a fetal pole and a fluttering of heartbeat - that's great news. Try to stay positive. You are experiencing pg symptoms - everyone's experience is different.
Avatar n tn Did they give you a percentile? My baby was in the 25 percentile at 36 weeks, she was taken out at 37wks1day and is perfectly fine (was small at birth 5lbs12.5oz) but seems normal otherwise.
Avatar n tn I am 9 weeks pregnant (one previous miscarriage) and the baby's heart rate at today's ultrasound was only 80bpm. How concerned should i be? How accurate are heart rate readings at this stage of pregnancy? (the ultrasound was an older machine where you had to have a full bladder to see anything).
Avatar f tn t get a good angle and measured me small at my 8.week ultrasound, then at 11 weeks moved me.back to the first due date. It's just an approximate.
