Avatar f tn So i know its really CONTROVERSIAL but i just wanted to know your thoughts on it mommas. So yesterday i was at a wedding and had a glass of red wine im 10 weeks 1 day today. I just wanted to know if any of you had an occasional drink during your pregnancies and how it turned out. This is my second baby and with my first it never even crossed my mind to indulge in a drink so i kinda feel bad. But if i can have an occasional glass of red wine and it not be detrimental then id like to.
1431138 tn?1294566894 I was just wondering cause a friend of mine is 12 weeks and said they told her there were girl parts today at her ultrasound. I think that's way too early to tell so I was just wondering.
672788 tn?1238120672 I'd be happy to help you with your question, but it's a little broad. Could you be more specific about your curiosity or concern regarding the development of a teenage boy?
Avatar n tn The fetal brain may create these cysts as a normal part of development. They are temporary and usually are gone by the 32nd week of pregnancy. [edit] Chromosome problems Genetic counseling is often recommended to provide more information about fetal CPCs, to answer questions and concerns, and to outline available options such as amniocentesis. There is a possible association between ultrasound-detected fetal CPCs and chromosome problems in the baby.
Avatar f tn The fetal heart undergoes a considerable amount of growth very early in pregnancy. The most critical period of its development is between three and seven weeks after fertilization, when a simple heart tube assumes the shape of a four-chambered heart. In fact, the heart actually begins beating by the 22nd day of life.
Avatar f tn My dog ate a tiny chunk of a pot cookies off the sidewalk on Sunday - she was far from fine, that was a tiny amount in a 20lb dog. She could barely walk - was swaying while trying to stand, and was leaking urine.
Avatar f tn m 6 weeks pregnant at the moment and i thought everything was going find until i got a call from my hospital telling me they needed to schedule me for an earlier appointment because when reviewing my ultrasounds they saw a problem with the fetus development. does anyone have any idea what this can mean? I would really appreciate it if you can help.
Avatar f tn Babies gain about a pound a week during the last few weeks of pregnancy. So almost 2 lbs at this point is not bad at all. U have nothing to worry about.
Avatar f tn t know if you had a 5 day transfer or a 3 day, but here is a breakdown of both to give you an idea what is going on, Sending you positive thoughts and baby dust :) When is your pregnancy test??
Avatar m tn They do not have any long term studies to show the effects on fetal development. My current dr says the same thing, when pg stay clear of it as possible.
1682653 tn?1355846015 I tested 5 days post transfer with a hpt and got a negative. But both of my betas were positive, so it must have been too early. Now I am 14 weeks pregnant! :) During this time, my friend sent me the following information, which was SUPER helpful! Hopefully it will help you too. Best of luck and lots of baby dust!! What Happens After an Embryo Transfer? Once you complete your embryo transfer, you will have approximately 1½ weeks to wait before a pregnancy can be detected.
Avatar f tn Hi! Yes, that is too early to see a fetal pole or cardiac activity. In ten days, you should see a nice change with development of a little "grain of rice" with a tiny flickering heart beat. I wish you the best!
511778 tn?1222823285 If the placenta detaches completely from your uterine wall, it can deprive baby of oxygen and nutrients, interfering with fetal development, or even causing stillbirth. Women experiencing placental abruption are at increased risk for preterm delivery and newborn complications. Unfortunately, the cause of placental abruption remains unknown. Certain factors do seem to contribute to the disorder, including abdominal trauma, premature rupture of the membranes, or smoking during pregnancy.
Avatar n tn If you break embryonic and fetal development into thirds then when you are in your 28th week the baby begins its final third of development. (Gestation is 266 days or 38 weeks of development). So either way you look at it you are in your 3rd trimester!
