you cannot believe what the Government says. It does not have the interests of the American people at heart, but rather the financial interests of its own members. And those financial interests conflict, in the area of biomedical research just as much as in that of allocation and control of the internet domain name system, with the interests of the users, those of us who need and must pay for services.
The only other time you get an u/s with your ob/gyn is for the level 2 u/s at 20 weeks unless you do any fetal testing, which may include the skin fold test to check for downs syndrome (at 11-13 weeks I think), amniocentesis (week 16) or to see how far along you are, which we already know that by the minute : ) I was wondering why your RE did you u/s so early and not wait a week or two to see the heartbeat(s)? Did you see the heartbeats during your u/s along with the gestational sacs?
This phase is followed by an immune clearance phase of variable duration, with serum HBV DNA levels remaining high, but with serum ALT levels that are persistently or intermittently elevated and features of chronic hepatitis with or without fibrosis present on liver biopsy.
don't go back to work just because you think you feel better....I attempted to go to work on Friday (3rd day from surgery)....BIG mistake....I was weaker then I thought and the pain from sitting at the computer was overwhelming so I went back home to bed....should've listened to you ladies about taking the time to recover properly....lesson learned there the hard way. THIRD LESSON: just because you think you feel better does not mean that your body is fully rested / healed.
We were so excited and had so many plans. Now they are talking about waiting a couple of years before trying again. I don't know maybe it's for the best if we can't but we sure do want to. My youngest is really getting big and I didn't realize that the baby stage would be over after awhile because we always had 1 little one on the end. If anyone understands or have any suggestions please comment. THANKS!
Our ivf routines here in England)seem to differ quite a bit to the States or Australia, we have a lot of 2 day transfers, our meds are different and we dont't have blood tests, we have to take hpt's, if over 39 which i am(41yrs) we have to pay for everything and each cycle being £5000+ its very, very expensive, we don't have any insurance plans either.
Hi all, Nicki, Can't wait to hear your results from your us today. What a great idea to rent a fetal heartbeat monitor! That's awesome that you are heading out to the Bahamas...enjoy the crystal clear turqoise waters and the sun! LJ, So glad to hear that you have already made plans for your next cycle...and that it will be here before you know it...the summer always goes by so fast! Sweedy, 3 week countdown girl...how exciting! I like your motto "make one and take one"!
It is very common for regular ObGyns and Maternal Fetal providers to have limited knowledge of the distinct differences between the different types of anomalies and misdiagnosis is VERY common. So, if your Dr says that you have a "heart shaped uterus" or can not distinguish between bicornuate, didelphys or septate, PLEASE see a reproductive surgeon or a reproductive endocrinologist for another opinion. Septate uterus is the most common variation.
His reason for this is alternately that he is trying to teach me a lesson and that I should let him wander the house and do whatever he wants and that it is his room and he should be allowed to do anything he wants in there even pee. When we realized that he was peeing in his room we took him to a mental hospital for inpatient treatment and they kept him for 8 days before releasing him.
Finally, am I right in thinking that some of you take drugs to help with follicle development apart from the fsh drugs like Gonal-f? If so, could you tell me what it is--I would like to ask the other doctor tomorrow. All the best to kmcarino and rachjas during your anxious time. Mommyin10 and luvkayln, you seem well on your way!
These results suggest that hCG may be a link in the development of peritrophoblastic immune tolerance and may facilitate the trophoblast invasion which is known to expedite fetal development in the endometrium.[1] It has also been suggested that hCG levels are linked to the severity of morning sickness in pregnant women.[2] Because of its similarity to LH, hCG can also be used clinically to induce ovulation in the ovaries as well as testosterone production in the testes.
Good luck with the start of IVF! Is this your first cycle? We go in tomorrow for our "medicine/injection lesson" and then Friday is the Catheter Trial. Next week is the official start! I am so nervous b/c I am terrified of needles and there are obviously going to be a lot of them! Thank goodness for my DH...he's going to have to get me through this! Kricket212, I'm so sorry about your loss. The good news is you got pregnant though...
So once again we waited and this morning we were eager to get a confirmation that all is well. Unfortunately fate had other plans. I could see how sad my doc was and I realized there was no change in the ultrasound image, no heartbeat, no clear bean next to the yolks. Well ladies, despite the high HCG levels, my little strong embryo, just couldn't hold on. I have to confess, I kind of expected this although I prayed for the opposite outcome. It was too good to be true.
This is what happens in a 5dt: -1dpt ..embryo is growing and developing 0dpt... Embryo is now a blastocyst 1dpt....Blastocyst hatches out of shell on this day 2dpt.. Blastocyst attaches to a site on the uterine lining 3dpt.. Implantation begins,as the blastocyst begins to bury in the lining 4dpt.. Implantation process continues and morula buries deeper in the lining 5dpt.. Morula is completely implanted in the lining and has placenta cells & fetal cells 6dpt...
I was supposed to be about 8 weeks, but the scan showed 6 weeks 1 day, no fetal pole or heartbeat. Anyway, all I've had so far is continued spotting, although on Wednesday something came out which I was wondering if it was the pregnancy sac. It was kind of smooth oval time shape, about 5cm long and 2cm wide. It just wasn't like a normal clot. Does anyone else think that this was the pregnancy sac and am I going to have some proper bleeding?
RE: Beta-Thalassemis Minor and Healing Some of the solutions to the Beta-thalassemia issue are based on diet. Eating rare red meat will provide the water soluble iron most needed in the high functioning systems of people with this condition. Consuming rare cooked red meat, especially beef liver and other organ meat, will begin to heal a body that is non-alkaline. The alkaline blood system has a blood tested pH of 7.2 or higher for the most energy possible.
So if I was due to miscarry wk 8 post ET, then the embryo failed at about 4wks development (6 weeks preg). My symptoms were as you would expect; fatigue, nausea (I got 4pm sickness!), hunger, dizziness. Please note, not everyone gets the "typical" indicators of preg. Everyone is different. Had one friend who if it wasn't for her growing stomach, would not have known she was! But as I said, they did subside a little. I thought God was being kind to me after my long wait.
I use to take Zrytec every day, and now, I don't need it anymore. The lesson for me is that creams will only cover the symptoms for an unknown time until your itch flares again. And trying to make lifestyle changes may address the root of the problem more.
