National Right to Life held a strategy conference this week in Arlington, Va.
Caution, for a lady who desires to be pregnant, is to give opportunity for the pregnancy outcome to declare itself. If two ultrasound images 10 days apart do not show fetal development, the diagnosis is sure. Waiting and not knowing are two of the hardest things we ask of patients. If we had a faster, better way, we would offer it and I am sure you know that.

There isn't any research on the effects of ultrasounds on fetal development so most doctors advice against elective scans. I don't see how any harm could come from it. It's just sound waves.
Well, I went back on June 2nd for what should be my 6 week visit ( and I know I am at least 6 weeks going by the earliest point you can have a positive preg. test) and the gestational sac had grown and they saw a good yolk sac but were unable to see a fetal pole or hb yet. This worried me bc everywhere I read it says that almost always at 6w. you should see the fetal pole. Has anyone else definetely been 6 w. but unable to see the baby yet. Should I be worried?.
we had a 16 week specialized sonogram. We got a miracle: the fluid was completely gone and the heart looks "encouraging." I share this story because we were in the depths of despair. I know how you all feel and even though our results turned out well, I will never forget the pain and loneliness one feels when you're given this diagnosis for your baby. My faith in God is what got us through this. I am religious - but really prayed more than I ever have in my entire life.
by week 52, CT group remained virally suppressed, HBV DNA levels increased in the MT group. 6. Combination therapy (CT) using adefovir plus emtricitabine and monotherapy (MT) using adefovir in a 2004 comparison of 30 patients showed greater antiviral activity with CT. 7.
I had sex with one man the week on Halloween. That around 2 week after my LMP, usually ovulation time frame. Then I had sex with another man using a condom on November 7th. I did not notice the condom breaking. I am worried because I have been trying to get pregnant for 6 years with the 1st man and now I am pregnant. I wish I never had sex with the 2nd man even though it was with a condom. What are the chances the baby is the 1st man's and the chances the baby is the 2nd man's?
I recently had a MC on 11/21 at 16 weeks! We had a heartbeat at 12 week, but then I started bleeding heavily and rushed to the ER only to "deliver" a 16 week fetus that was only the size of an 8-10 week fetus. HCG levels were 500, menaing only 2-4 weeks pregnant. It was devastating. We have a healthy 3 year old, so it is a little yplifting to know that we are capable of a healthy pg. Now today is 4 weeks from my MC and mt doctor said I should expect a period at 6 weeks.
I have only had negative urine tests so far. I go to the doctor next week - so they will probably do a blood test then. The first day of my last period was May 31st. I am 31 and never have missed a period before. I am now going on missing another period. This is crazy that this happens to so many women and there is no explanation except for stress.
I would call around and try to find a obgyn who has some experience with the didelphys, though. Also, we just found out last week that we are expecting again -- again on the first month of trying -- keep you chin up. Things do work out well.
It was extremely hard, especially because I had started bleeding the week before the m/c. I went to the hospital thinking that the pregnancy was over, and they gave me great news. I saw the baby moving, everything looked normal, the baby's heart rate was 155 (which apparently, when it is over 100, your chance of m/c is about 10%), everyhting was normal, except for the bleeding. I proceeded to see my obgyn and he too said the heart rate and size and everything was fine.
What I have been doing is bd'ing every other day from the day my period stops to the week my period is due. I did this just the last time I got pregnant, so once and it worked. I tried again immediately after my miscarriage before even getting a normal period and it didn't work this tiime. This could be because I am all messed up from the miscarriage still. I am on CD3 of my new cycle so I am looking forward to ttc again!! Keep me posted on your progress too!
I had my IUD removed about a week ago and for the last couple days I have had heavy bleeding with clots. My question is if that is normal once it has been removed and how long does it last. I had it in for over a year but wanted it removed because my husband and I are planning for another baby. So I have one more question, how long could it take to conceive once it is removed? and is it safe to try the first month that it has been removed?
I usually go 3 times a week before and after the transfer - I like my Korean doc very much, but don't like the amount of money I'm leaving him...
) Usually my 2nd day off for the week is Sunday, but we have a bridal show to go to for work, so that'll be fun! We provide winetasting there, and just talk to bride to be's about what we offer at the winery as far as weddings/receptions/rehersal dinner's go! Usually at these things I have some wine myself, but not this show! Haha!! :) You know what aggrivates me?! Last week, 2 pregnant women came to the winery with a friend and they BOTH drank and smoked the ENTIRE time they were there!
I don't have high FSH which would generally make it simpler to understand why I have a diminished ovarian reserve, but I have high E2 levels which artifically supress my FSH. I was also adviced to take DHEA for 16 weeks in the hopes that it will improve my egg quality. But I have no clue where to begin, where to buy DHEA supplements and what kind to use?
ok, it's me again. just thinking & reviewing my own personal history & the development of my pain. Like I mentioned above I had experienced severe cramping for the past 4-5 years. I was diagnosed with endometriosis back in the late 90's during infertility treatment (at that time I did not have fibroids). My diagnosis of fibroids is relatively recent.

Hello, I'm not a health care specialist, just someone that has had chiari malformation surgery and has done research, so don't take my word as gospel, but basically "yes" to both questions. All types of Chiari are congenital - that means you are born with it. And you can pass it along. That's not to say you will for sure, I've heard the statistics are around 14% chance - not a huge number, but a number to pay attention to. I believe there are 5 types of Chiari.
It's a very sharp pain (resulting to putting you in a fetal position because it hurts so bad) in the upper right side just above the breast. My doctor diagnose me with "Costochondritis" Here is a website to check the symtoms out. http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/costochondritis/DS00626 But I don't think this is it. It doesn't feel like a bone is affected at all, It's moreso in the breast itself.
i have had 3 iuis and going for my 4 today, with the other 3 even though i wasnt pregnant i had very sore breasts and felt very bloted i learned after having so many iuis to expect that i guess that comes from the hcg shot, i never was nausiuos though, that could be a good sign some woman know it the minute they become pregnant, and you could be one of them,i know the two week wait can be unbearable, but try and hang in there and try not to take a hpt test for a few more days, unlike i did and get a
It's always so great to be reassured, because this week it really feels like my muscles are going into spasms more than they were before. Anyway, stay strong everyone and take care!
If I am lucky I won't get it for a week. I have also, recently started getting frequent headaches every week. Rarely more than that. It's not a bad pain and it doesn't last very long but it happens. I rarely ever gotten headaches before this. I haven't seen a doctor yet because I don't have insurance and money is a bit tight, with my boyfriend in school and me working. That can be stressful as well as some other things.
Who has a sinus infection for 5 months straight? He sent me to get some bloodwork done and I go in next week to see him again. Would it be crazy of me to insist on an MRI? I am starting to freak out thta this is something serious. I can't concentrate or get much work done, I am scared it may be a brain tumor. It's bad enough living with this feeling without having to wonder if it is something very serious. I will let you all know how my next appt goes.
And ever since I can't get it to be negative again, meaning the candida if that is what I have has become resistant to the supplements that I was using. As I started a new treatment, I will take the test this week-end to see if there is any progress.
