fetal-development

Avatar f tn 20 mm Fetal heart rate: 164 bpm, the other one is 33,7 X 18,4 Fetal length: 16,7 mm Yolk Sac: 5,9 mm Fetal heart rate: 166 bpm Also embryon1 age is 10w3d but embryon 2 is 9w2d. I'm very concerned. Are those differences ok? The next ultrasound is in 10 days and the wait is killing me.
Avatar n tn I went in today for an U/S (I think I'm a little less than 6 weeks pregnant). We saw one sac and a likely fetal pole and "fluttering" heartbeat. No problem, except for the fact that my HCG was over 1800 almost a week ago. It rose very quickly (from 125 five days earlier). The doctor was concerned because what he saw (although it matched expected gestational age) did not match the HCG levels that I must be at now.
Avatar f tn The baby only measured 1cm which from my research isnt as big as most are this far long however Im not panicking about that as Ive been told all fetal development is different. Ive also taken some comfort in how nauseated ive been which to me is a good sign, but not so fun! So as of now I am relaxed and excited!!
Avatar m tn I am 38 years old and have a 4 year old son. According to my doctor, I am 7 weeks pregnant. According to my 6 week u/s, there are 2 sacs, but only 1 has developed. According to my 7 week u/s, there is no change... no fetal pole or visible heartbeat. I've had some mild cramping, but no spotting or bleeding. I'm being forced to wait through the holiday weekend (pure torture) for my doctor to correlate my blood work with my ultrasound to see if my numbers are going up.
Avatar f tn If you had an U/S before 18 weeks and have been sent for another one a few weeks later it may just have been difficult for the Dr to see what they wanted to see.
Avatar f tn Are you talking about the phone app? The same development will happen at the same time for each baby. So I guess I am not understanding what would be different and what you are asking.
738822 tn?1264908407 no more babies for me.....twins is enough!
Avatar f tn ur probably going to have to just wait for ur appointment. every fetal develolpment is different and it may not be anything at all just cross ur fingers and pray!!
Avatar f tn Your doctor, ultrasounds, fetal heart monitors ,and etc has led you to believe you were only having one baby and during labor you deliver not one but two babies ?.. How is that so easily missed during doctor visits?
Avatar f tn It could be twins. Those numbers are very similar to what mine were. How far are your? But it might also just be one. ..
Avatar f tn Following that I had a period in late March, I started on 3/27 for a few days, then stopped, then about 4 days later, Started again for about 2-3 days, Got 1st HPT (+) on 5/2/09, Went for ultrasound on 5/19/09, yolk sac present but no fetal pole yet, going to redo the ultra sound this friday 5/19/09. Basically, I was told to hope for the best but prepare for the worst. I am a wreck!! I am so Scared ! Can anyone tell me if my dates sound right on to what I am measuring?
Avatar f tn I posted recently about my Dr pushing a c-section. I've since been given more information about the situation and have come to terms with the operation as it will be safest for my babies. Baby a has iugr, but is monitored twice a week. So now I'm 35+1 with my identical twin girls. Today my c-section was scheduled for April 2nd, when I will be 37+3.
Avatar f tn HI, When two gestational sacs are seen, it raises the possibility of a twin pregnancy. However it is necessary to look for fetal pole. Sometimes in very early pregnancy the early gestational sacs of the fetus will get absorbed and only a single fetus will be found on follow up scans. Hope this helps.
9420847 tn?1403683550 i went to the dr today for the first time && they seen two sacks and said i was around 6 weeks. but they didn't see the babys or hear the heart beats. i go back in a week. i'm super worried, anyone ever had this happen and they baby ending up being fine???!
Avatar f tn it's up to you, but twins can be high risk as it is so I wouldn't but I Would Suggest Looking Up information on fetal alcohol spectrum disorders.
