m on my third round of femara, and had no side effects the first month, but the second and third cycle, I did have a headache on and off for a couple of days. No tummy aches or breaking out, though. BUT, since you took such a high dose all at once, it wouldn't surprise me if the stimulation of the ovaries is causing some crampiness. Like dnikki said, you could always call your doctor and check. You might discuss this with your Oncologist .... usually most side effects of Chemo will disappear after the drug has been discontinued. s merely the remnants of a cold. However, I am losing an insane amount of hair, above the average hair loss due to postpartum. Is this the combo of thyroid, meds and postpartum... I used both, and found that side effects are similar; tiredness, weight gain, and a slow pulse. Side effects are more pronounced as the dosage is increased. I had dosages from 25mg to 200mg. daily. Other reported effects are loss of libido, tightness in the chest, itching, irregular breathing, and irregular heartbeat. I have been reading the posts on here about post treatment side effects and I was wondering how many of you have had severe hair loss? I only treated for 24 weeks but had lots of problems throughout treatment. I am 2 and half months post tx. Anyhow my hair will grow for about 4 to 7 days max then it falls back out. Hello, I was just reading about an older dog having a problem with urinary incontinence and the treatment she was given, particularly the possible side effects. My White Bearded Collie (13 years old) started being incontinent last year and my vet has prescribed INCURIN 1mg daily. This has been mostly effective (just the odd occurrence when she was asleep or distressed). I was just concerned that it may have some serious side effects such as those mentioned for the other treatment (PPA).

However, I started out with bone density readings off the chart so it might take me a little more time to show any loss. Other side effects are insomnia (if taken before bed....I take mine in the morning, now), minor hair loss, and hot flashes. I agree, a change in your vision is one of the rare side effects of clomid. Femara is another similar drug that can be used, and usually without as many side effects. If I were you, I would try to talk to the doctor about this as soon as possible. I don't really have any experience with PCOS, but eating better and exercising certainly wouldn't hurt.
