femara

405855 tn?1217100767 As far as I know, Tylenol is safe while TTC. I have even heard of doctors saying it's OK while pregnant. I feel your pain in that I get pretty bad headaches with the Femara too. I've read that this is one symptom that is definitely stronger with Femara than Clomid. We'll see if anyone else has some input on this. Hope you feel better!
Avatar f tn I'm almost 9wks and I was just wondering if anyone has experienced thinning hair. Mine seems to be a little thinner right in the front. And I'm not sure if this is normal or if it's caused by another reason.
Avatar n tn All my life I've been told that I have thick hair. I'm 21, Asian, male; for the past few years I've been noticing that I have thinner hair on the right side of my scalp. When I run my hand gently through my hair I notice that hair falls out WAY easier than the left side of my head. I'm not shedding clumps of hair, it's just my right side of the scalp sheds more in comparison to the left. Is this something normal? I've been stressing about this a lot!
Avatar m tn Well, yes, it would be some time before you actually notice that your hair is thinning. The low iron could be due to chronic blood loss due to piles. Post surgery, may be this was not corrected. Also, additional low vitamin D could be contributing to hair fall—and this may be a recent development or may be persisting. To improve the quality of hair, you’ll need to take iron and vitamin D supplements and improve your diet to include healthy meals. Take care!
Avatar f tn Are you on meds for PCOS? As I understand it, being on meds and losing weight, help to control all the symptoms of PCOS, including thinning hair. I myself haven't tried any products, but I wish you good luck with that, honey!
1300834 tn?1273123354 My hair has been thinning for about 4 years now. I honestly can't tell if its halted. I think it has at least slowed cause over the past year I haven't noticed in increase in the view of myscalp. I can't get any confirmation from my hairdresser or my doctors because my job had me moving around a lot and I've never had a consistent hair dresser or doctor for more than a few years.
Avatar n tn My hair has been thinning for the last five years I am 59 years ,through menopause ....whats up ? Maybe iron or iodine defecency?
Avatar m tn After around 6 months i could see my scalp.Taking a closer look it appeared red and the hair was thinning especially in the mid scalp region.I could also scratch some white crust with my nail.I had moderate itching. After some months i had extreme itching and a burning sensation like ants crawling and i could sense warmth. The scalp was really red so i went to dermatologist.I think he said i had pytiriasis.I was given ketekonazole and nizoral and after 1 month of treatment the symptoms were gone.
Avatar n tn Ive heard its common to lose hair AFTER pregnancy but has anyone had or is having hair loss while expecting??
Avatar f tn in the past i used clomid/menopur with a trigger shot. this month, he switched to femara/menopur with a trigger. what is different about femara? I got 3 follies first cycle, and 4 last cycle. what would the difference be with femara? any side effects?
Avatar m tn Thyroid hair loss would be all over - as in thinning throughout the hair for general thinning, while pattern baldness would be thinning in certain spots. At least, that is what happened to me.
495138 tn?1221217880 I was on Clomid for 6 months last year with no success and i was also very emotional and moody on it .And I had heard that it can cause uterine thinning. So my question is which is better Clomid or Femara??? Should I discuss with her which one is best for me or should I just go with the clomid?? I live in Canada so i dont even know if they have Femara here?? Just looking for peoples opinions.
Avatar f tn I had 3 unsuccessful cycles with clomid. My lining was way too thin. I was successful on my first cycle with Femara with trigger, and no side effects either (except getting pregnant).
Avatar f tn I've noticed that since I've begun fertility meds such as Clomid, Femara, Gonal F, etc.... my hair has been falling out. Not large chunks of hair, but strands - enough that I've noticed and so has my hair dresser. It's not breakage, it comes from the root. I don't have bald spots and according to my hair dresser it's not alarming to her, but it is to me. Is anyone else experiencing this? If so, are you doing anything to correct it?
Avatar m tn She squeezed it and extracted it like a blackhead. Now he has a patch of thinning hair around the same area where he had the ingrown hair. His pediatrician told us she wasn't sure what it was but it might be a reaction to the ingrown hair (which might have been an infection) or alopecia areata and to wait a few months to see what happens.

Avatar f tn As Dr. O says, do have yourself checked out by an opthalmologist. If he does not find blepharitis, there are other factors to consider. Since you have always had plenty of eyelashes, you might not be aware of any asymmetry in that department, but I'm very fair, with fine, light hair and I have noticed with the passage of time that one side of my head has slightly more hair than the other (weird, huh?), and interestingly the side with more hair has thicker eyelashes.
Avatar f tn Clomid seems to have more side effects (moodiness, ovarian hyperstimulation, reduction of cervical mucus, and thinning of uterine lining) than Femara. Personally, I have taken both and did like the Femara better, but everyone responds differently. I'm sure your doctor can give you some advice on that. If you have any other questions, let us know. Good luck to you!
846905 tn?1258817444 I have panic attacks, have not gotten pregnant since my miscarriage,my hair is thinning on one side of my head, I had a skin tag on my armpit; which got ripped off while shaving, I have acne that wont go away, I have been to dermotologists and their prescription creams dont stand a chance, and I keep getting these BIG pimples in my groin area, arm pit and buttox, they hurt bad.. My boyfriend said he thinks they are boils. Should I ask my doctor to check for this right away?
Avatar m tn Iron supplements can restore iron levels to normal and may help your hair to recover its previous thickness. Other causes for hair thinning are health, anaemia, or a thyroid problem. Consult a hematologist for appropriate guidance. Take care.
