Avatar n tn In June '08 I was sitting watching TV when my left side from my head down to my leg became stiff and numb. Went to the ER and checked by 5 neuronogists, had scans, MRI & other tests. Their consensus was a brain event in the rt. thalemus. For 2 & 1/2 yrs I was living with a 5 out of 10 sensation but last Dec. '10 as I was having dinner, the sensation became worse like an 8 out of 10 and I'm having increased trouble moving my whole left side.

Avatar m tn Coadministration with the hepatitis C virus (HCV) NS3/4A protease inhibitors, boceprevir and telaprevir, may increase the plasma concentrations and pharmacologic effects of calcium channel blockers, especially the dihydropyridines (e.g., amlodipine, felodipine, nicardipine, nifedipine, nisoldipine). The mechanism involves inhibition of intestinal and hepatic CYP450 3A4, the isoenzyme primarily responsible for the metabolic clearance of most calcium channel blockers.

I would recommend you speak with a pharmacists for correct information on this. There may be others on the forum who can speak to this drug/supplement. Sorry I wasn't any help. Good luck.

Avatar n tn As long as the correct ************** is given to a person who has atypical (absence) seizures, they will not become a more severe form of epilepsy. However, left untreated, atypical seizure symptoms can get much worse, increasing in number and severity.
