I will continue to stay on the BP meds so there will be no more problems. Other than that, I have had no other side effects. Please try not to worry a great deal because as with any chemo drug, it does not effect each person in the same way. You will probably do just fine.
I too am curious as to what other drug you will be recieveing as I have not heard of it being given alone either.

There must be a better way to detox yourself from this drug, tobacco, without just turning to another difficult drug, an antidepressant, particularly one that's so stimulating. I'd look into lifestyle changes before drugs to see if you can work yourself out of it, such as exercise, meditation, or whatever else works for you. Tobacco isn't the only drug with problems.
My wife, Nanette, had liposomal doxorubicin or Caelyx for 6 months (equivalent to 6 treatments) and she had skin darkening. We noticed the change in her complexion midway through this regimen. She applies sun block lotion everytime she goes outside. Kindly watch out for PPE / hand and foot syndrome also, although Nanette didn't have this. This is one of the more popular side effects of this drug.

do all of these crappy (literally) side effects EVER fade??? ive only been on the combined treatment for a month now....it just seems to b getting worse...the vomitting, crapping, fatigue,body aches, head aches, raw throat and mouth....i just hate to ask my docs for all kinds of meds....just wondering if it gets better closer to the one year marker????
It can take a few months to separate disease activity from treatment side-effects unless its something obvious like Copaxone welts.

Regarding the use of Gabapentin, you are regularly using since last September and had you suffered similar pains any time in the course of taking the drug? Although it has side effects as any other medicine, joint pain is not among the common or usual ones. You need to consult your attending doctor who had prescribed Gabapentin and update him of the possibility of the joint pains due to taking the drug. Are you been regularly followed up for your thigh pain? How is the pain presently?
The thing is my mom is a bit scared because of what she has heard about the possible long term effects of accutane. Is it true that the drug can cause serious liver damage etc? I am aware of the short term effects of accutane (chapped lips, blured vision etc) but can someone enlighten me on what can possibly happen in the long run with my health after i take this drug?
I used both, and found that side effects are similar; tiredness, weight gain, and a slow pulse. Side effects are more pronounced as the dosage is increased. I had dosages from 25mg to 200mg. daily. Other reported effects are loss of libido, tightness in the chest, itching, irregular breathing, and irregular heartbeat. I was wondering if anyone knew of any longer lasting side-effects of this drug (i.e. the blood vessels in the penis permanently widen to allow increased blood flow). I'm not concerned over my health but was wondering if Viagra does something to physically change something in the penis to allow harder and longer lasting erections and if so, does this have any long-term consequences.
