hello 5 weeks ago i woke up to find my left eye had what i can only describe has a frosty shadow over it i left it for two weeks thinking it was just floaters no change so went to the doctors who gave me a blood pressure test found it was high and put me on felodipine prolonged release tablets 2.
In June '08 I was sitting watching TV when my left side from my head down to my leg became stiff and numb. Went to the ER and checked by 5 neuronogists, had scans, MRI & other tests. Their consensus was a brain event in the rt. thalemus. For 2 & 1/2 yrs I was living with a 5 out of 10 sensation but last Dec. '10 as I was having dinner, the sensation became worse like an 8 out of 10 and I'm having increased trouble moving my whole left side.

I am active, never sick but use eyedrops for Glaucoma, very slightly elevated blood pressure for which I take a mild 5 mg. Felodipine tab and vytorin for slightly elevated cholestrol. My chol. ratio with meds is 2.3.
The last week I have had a great slowing of my pulse. For three days it didn't get over 42 and on one day if got down as low as 37 and then 38 and stayed there all day. My blood pressure has been about the same as it always is....

Can I ask why your Dr made the change? Was it his idea, or did you feel like you needed it?
We don't know what fillers they use in these meds. I would ask my pharmacist.
Do the pills look the same, or did your pharmacy switch companies? I get one of my medications at 2 different pharmacies. They're the exact same medication and the exact same dose but they look completely different at one pharmacy. And one pill is bigger than the other so I know it has more fillers in it.
I cm chemically sensitive and find many creams irritating. I searched on-line to find out the ingredients in pramasone and eletone and could find nothing. I received samples of these from a dermatologist and without the ingredients. I am unable to find them on the web. Is there a site open to the public that lists ingredients?
I was also advised to take Zyrtec and wondered if Zyrtec had any more benefit for skin reactions thank Claritin. Claritin didn't help at all.
Not knowing if this from dust (we just moved) or the med I continued the med for about 2-3 more days getting worse. Then I decided to read the inert ingredients and learned that one of them was lactose monohydrate. Two main foods I cannot have are gluten and caisen (dairy). I was mad pharm companies should know better than to use any ingredient that is one of the top 10 food allergies! I have done some research on other products I use and found that these ingredients are in some cetaphil and dermologica products as well.
In your professional opinion do you believe this product is safe to use.
I just purchased an eye wash solution and in the ingredients are polyhexamethylene biguanide 0.0001% and sodium estate 0.01% ,I have read that these ingredients are used to treat certain eye conditions ,is it still safe to use?

I'm a 38 year old male with a 16 or so year history of "noticeable" PVCs. They weren't particuarly frequent (maybe a few per hour) but annoying. My doctor tried beta blockers (Toprol, Atenolol) and a calcium channel blocker (cardizem), none of which had any effect on my PVCs. ECGs and an echocardiogram were all normal. I eventually learned to live with them and for the most part ignore them.
About a year ago I was experiencing some chest pain so I had a cardiac workup.
I have been prescribed 10mg of lisinopril, 5mg of felodipine daily and then a few visits to a very enthusiastic GP he has put me on 2x 95mg metoprolol succinate daily because I had a high heart rate in all my readings.
My BP and heart rate now seems to be okay when I get it checked but this seems like a very high dose of metoprolol and I'm getting worried it's going to cause me some damage in the long term.
