In June '08 I was sitting watching TV when my left side from my head down to my leg became stiff and numb. Went to the ER and checked by 5 neuronogists, had scans, MRI & other tests. Their consensus was a brain event in the rt. thalemus. For 2 & 1/2 yrs I was living with a 5 out of 10 sensation but last Dec. '10 as I was having dinner, the sensation became worse like an 8 out of 10 and I'm having increased trouble moving my whole left side.

However, since the accidental discovery of an interaction between the calcium channel blocker, felodipine, with grapefruit juice,1 it has now become evident that grapefruit juice has the potential to alter the plasma concentrations of many medications when they are taken by mouth. In some cases, this may result in undesirable clinical effects of medications.

I am active, never sick but use eyedrops for Glaucoma, very slightly elevated blood pressure for which I take a mild 5 mg. Felodipine tab and vytorin for slightly elevated cholestrol. My chol. ratio with meds is 2.3. The last week I have had a great slowing of my pulse. For three days it didn't get over 42 and on one day if got down as low as 37 and then 38 and stayed there all day. My blood pressure has been about the same as it always is....

I was recently diagnosed with Type 2 due to a 7.5 A1C test. First question: during the last 2.5 months, I have been in pain and stressing from a herniated disc. It was actually the pre-surgery screening that caused the A1C test to occur. On top of that, for 10 days about 6 weeks ago I was on Prednisone. Hi, Iknow it has been a few years since your post, i was wondering how you are doing on the Opana ER. I am switching from Opana 30 mg ER to Morphine 60 mg ER.The Opana gave me side effects, dizziness, being in withdrawl if I missed a dose, and it did not help my chronic pain.. I have tried many ER drugs and I am having a hard time finding many of them. Plus my breakthrough meds are also hard to find.

He received 10 mg morphine in the ambulance, then 6 mg dilaudid, 4 mg zofran, and 1 mg ativan in about an hour. He weighs 190 lbs and is 6 feet tall. He suffered cardiopulmonary arrest. I have never understood why my dr would switch me to the 10 mg opana er 3 times a day when i was only taking 3 hydros a day. It was helping my pain and i had not increased my doseage in about 2 years. Do you think the opana is stronger than the hydrocodone 7.5? It seemed to affect me a lot differently.

My dr. just switched me to Morphine Sulfate ER 30 MG, 2 tablets per day (one every 12 hours).

I have been taking Atorvastin calcium 10 mg tablets(Brand Name is Storvas 10 mg) since 3 months for bringing LDL under control. Please advise if simvastatin 10 mg(brand name : Zosta -10) also has the same effect as Storvas 10 mg. I have had cholecystectomy about 5 years back.
