I have, over the past 15 years, developed very small clear hard bumps on the palms of my hands and the soles of my feet. In places they are so numerous that they actually feel like thickened skin. When my hands are wet for a while, as with swimming, they turn white, sometimes a few slough off. They do not hurt or itch and they never bleed or turn red. My mother and my mother's sister as well as my brother also have these and we don't live in the same regions of the country.
It is like having a FLU . However, I have no FLU symptoms, and temperature is normal .Most pain is in soles of feet, knees, back of knees. and hands and fingers. In the fingers and toes I get a sharp type of pain.Other area is a constant dull ache /pain
I'm currenttly taking T3 Liothyrone Sodium 60Mg a day and Sandocal 2 times each day (25mmol :50mEq Ca++). I'm om T3 as I will be having another RAI treatment then going onto T4.
I have had plantar fasciitis in both my feet and had cortisone injections in the soles of my feet so I could walk. It actually got so bad that I was almost crawling. Now that the plantar fasciitis is under control again, I am back at the gym. I want to do lots at the gym but can only manage 15 minutes on the bike or cross trainer. By that time, the soles of my feet are burning so badly that I'm near tears. I have properly fitted trainers and cotton socks.
I had exactly the same experience as dointime. Burning hands and feet and my skin peeling. Fortunately it wasn't every night, and didn't last all the way through tx. Hopefully it'll run its course and not plague you through tx.
I have put the question under arthritis but really don't know how to classify this problem. My feet are excruciatingly painful on the soles - and don't know where to start . I was initially linking it to sciatica but now doubt that.

The condition is called Diabetic Neuropathy where the nerve endings at the bottom of your feet fire off at a much higher rate of speed than normal which causes this burning sensation on the soles of your feet.
The swelling around your ankles and feet could be a sign of poor circulation in your legs, as well. You may want to talk to your doctor bout getting an ultrasound done on your legs to determine if a blood clot may be present.
I've been having an extreme itch in both my hands and my feet the past couple months. It doesn't seem to be dry skin because lotion doesn't help it. Plus, it just suddenly starts itching and then will just suddenly go away. And it's always just my feet and hands, and it will almost always be at the same time. It also seems to just happen when it's warm. It usually happens when I've been inside for a long time and then go outside into the heat.
This can also be a sign of infection with very small worms, known as microfilaria, which is just a generic term for the smallest stage of their development. If the read areas sometimes have what seems to be a clear fluid beneath them, that's probably what it is. That fluid is the microfilaria. The redness is where they travel to and from from the bloodstream. They prefer to come out where blood and oxygen flow is the least.
I had burning sensation in soles of my feet for 30 yrs in summer and in winter I used to have burning/cold sensation in my upper spine below shoulder blade. bothe symptoms were transient-for few seconds only.
But now since last three years I have tightness in my soles. left foot is more tifht than right one. This sensations are like putting on tight socks or walking on a cotton matress.the symptom does not respond to analgesics any medications. I took GABA for 45 days without any results.
My feet and hands are very itchy and my feet are swollen! I'm 32 weeks will someone please tell me what it is!!
Now these seemed to calm down and eventually dry out and scab up, but now I have noticed many hundreds of smaller clear blisters all over my feet and toes as well as my palms and tips of my fingers. They are very small and almost hard to see for others but in the right light many hundreds can be seen. When broken they are quite deep and painful in water.
My question is what are these?????
I have never had these before, the bigger ones I have had and they go away okay on there own.

ruled out by a nerve conduction test. i have fallen arches but wear arch supports which help a little.
no diabetes. high cholesterol, lower back stiffness caused by what i am told is a commonplace bone connection
between L5 and S1 (sacralization?).
I had sensation of warmth in my soles of feet for more than 30 years and sensation of hot/cold in the upper spine in winter.Intensity was less and transient. hence no tretment was suggested. Now these feelings are replaced by tightness of soles and numbness in legs. Can this be because of smoking? I smoked for 50 y ears.Any suggestion for the treatment?
ve had the same pain your describing for about 7 years now and my doctor told me that it was just the way i was sleeping. They say if you sleep with your feet pointed that it can cause the tendons in your feet to tense/tighten up and then the pain your feeling is the tendons in your feet trying to stretch back out. What was recommended is that you wear some sort of ankle brace or ace bandage when your going to bed.
0 I always end up washing the sole of my feet in 4-5 attempts because the burning pain is too painful. It only happens when washing the soles of my feet and not when I wash other body parts.
I'm not sure if it's important to mention, but I'm 17 years old.
Is this some neurological problem as it's most definitely not normal and should I go visit a doctor?

Get some icy hot. Put it on your feet at night when you sleep. roll your soles of your feet on a tennis ball it really feels good. When you get off work put your feet up. When you are at work on break or lunch sit down and put your feet up. Ted hoses your doctor can recommend some to help you when your standing all day. They will help prevent varicose veins and help with your circulation.
i m now experiencing a rash on the soles of my feet, one on the top of my left, on the back of my hands and now its spreading even more, on my left calf, behind my right knee, and on my arms. I've always read that hiv causing rashes but recently read that it's the medication that causes those rashes. I'm so scared of doctors, i have always been that way. It took my Best friend to persuade me into going to get the test that i did get.
