Avatar f tn I am now struggling to cope with the fear of dying, its only recently become very serious, in feb of this year i found out i was expecting my second child, and because i thought i could get pregnant then surely nothing is wrong with me, then tragically i lost the baby and after going through all the motions of miscarrying i suddenly thought well something must be wrong and it has gone on from their, i am constantly checking myself, thinking im pale, checking my tongue, thinking my fingers tips
1854861 tn?1333474904 I'm six and a half wks pregnant with my first child. My biggest fear so far is miscarriage. I hate to worry so much because I know stress can cause miscarriage itself. Is there any way I can ease this fear? I'm almost 23, active, stable long term relationship, no history of miscarriage in family, quit smoking day before pregnancy confirmation, non drinker, no drugs. But this is my first child out of MY uterus.
Avatar f tn Has any of you ever been told that either your baby is younger and you have the wrong due date or that it just stopped growing period???
Avatar f tn but I was afraid of the same thing to the point were I would go to the bathroom to check to make sure when I wiped there was nothing there (tmi sorry) but i had to stop myself obsessing because I was stressing which ultimately can cause miscarriage! just try not to worry about it too much and focus on the health and well being of your new little baby!! :-) . . . thats what I did! and im now 34 weeks! best of luck with your pregnancy!
Avatar f tn I'm 19 weeks almost 20 and I continue to get all kinds of negative thought. What if I lose my baby? How come I'm not feeling him move a lot? What if something happens wrong? Just all kinds of thought. I have major fear of losing him and I honestly don't know why. Has any other moms felt this way? What helped get your mind off of it.
Avatar f tn My biggest fear right now is that the baby has stopped developing. It happened in our last pregnancy at 8 weeks. This pregnancy seems different. We've seen the heartbeat for the last 3 weeks and the last two ultrasounds seen some wiggles. Heartbeat has been steady in the 170's and baby measures right on target. Aside from having a SCH (that seems to be shrinking and no more bleeding, just brown spotting) it's been a good pregnancy.
Avatar f tn I am 8 weeks and so far have had a miserable time of it. Split up with my partner. Cramping and restless leg syndrome in my legs and arms and hands. Iv had very bad anxiety and feeling quite depressed. I work part time just doin 4 hour shifts 5 days a week. I don't do anything I would say was strenuous but I have been very very upset all the time. I had sore breasts from the beginning and major swelling to my stomach due to the sore stabbing sort of period like cramps.
Avatar f tn Okay so I am 10 weeks 2 days and I have a massive fear of miscarraige... I actually have a friend with sensitive hearing who checks on my baby and says everything is fine.. but that fear keeps comming back... any advice on how to not think about it or letting it get to me?
Avatar f tn idk, the whole thing sounds so strange to me!! if they didn't say there was no heartbeat, or the baby wasn't growing, etc. I don't understand why they would just label it as a miscarriage because of the bleeding??? I'm not trying to be a doctor, or say they don't know what they're doing/talking about.. but I'd get a second opinion just so my HEART would know what was going on.. that just doesn't make sense to me.. at all!!
Avatar f tn t worry or stress yourself. If you are 15 weeks along the chance of miscarriage goes way down after your first tri and if your 15 weeks your in your 2nd tri. The first miscarriage was in your 1st tri not the 2nd so I wouldn't stress it too much.
Avatar f tn Since I found put I was pregnant the unnerving fear of miscarriage has been on my mind non stop. I read in What to expect when your expecting" that a greyish discharge is a sign that pregnancy is about to terminate and I noticed a dark I would say greyish discharge and I am scared to death. Does that always mean a miscarriage has started?
Avatar f tn I am so scared of having a miscarriage. I want this baby so bad. I have had two ultrasounds already. I have another one on Thursday to make sure everything is on track. I am so scared of there not being a heartbeat anymore. Does this fear ever go away?? Or is there something I can do to help take away the fear?
Avatar f tn And if it puts your mind at ease you are almost in the 2nd trimester and the likely hood of a miscarriage is there but the possibility drops significantly.
1283493 tn?1278972563 my dr told me that once they heard the heart beat my risk of miscarriage would drop. Alot of people i know have had miscarriages with their first and then go on to have normal healthy pregnancys. Just try not to stress bc I hear you can also stress the baby. think positive!
Avatar n tn I'll be six weeks along in a couple days. I have two beautiful dogs and one cat who must think he's absolutely hilarious. My cat has jumped on my stomach once or twice and I just am so scared that he's going to make me have a miscarriage because the little **** comes out of nowhere!!! My dogs occasionally put their paw on me when they need to tell me they want to go outside but it's not too hard like the pressure my cats entire body weight is. Has anyone else had this fear?
Avatar f tn I'm 8 weeks pregnant today. I found out at 5 weeks too. You're doing great.. The fear of mis carriage never goes away.. But I promise you stop worrying so bad as soon as you hear the heartbeat.. Trust in yourself and think of it as, if you have a miscarriage. There was something that made that baby unable to continue life. And that's not you to blame when you're doing everything right. Good luck momma.
