Common Questions and Answers about Fear of eggs

fear

Avatar n tn The main ones are uncooked deli meats---just heat them in a microwave, some seafood, raw meats, raw eggs, soft cheeses, unpasteurized milk, and the obvious alcohol and high amounts of caffeine.
Avatar f tn hello, i started my IVF , now i am on my 20th day, i'm so terrified of continuing the program. i fear the next step of the injections, i've been taking decapeptyl daily till now and menogon, what is the next injection that will force the eggs to go out of the ovarian? is it the hardest step? what is the side effect of it ? i'm experiencing headaches, stress, crampy? can you please tell me because honsetly i don't trust the meds here in my country. i have one more question..
Avatar f tn As I grabbed the pan and went to take the last of it I noticed a fly fly away from it and my brain INSTANTLY was like…what if I just ate fly eggs… and I have a gigantic f-king fear of fly larvae (I cannot even say the word, or type it) and so I googled what would happen if I accidentally ate one, or an egg. Now I know what intestinal myiasis is. I am horrified. The thing is, the food wasn’t old. There was barely any left too.
Avatar n tn I have a four year old daughter who is extremely afraid of any kind of insect, whether it's big or small. If a bug is near her, she screams and panics. She is also afraid of loud noise, for ex.I can't vacuum, blow dry my hair, make eggs, anything that makes any type of loud noise or even when we grill, she is hiding. When in the pool, she is afraid of leaves that fall in the pool and bugs that are in the water.
595125 tn?1219834270 What you descrive is a panic attack when you have this intense fear, then you become afraid of the fear and so on until it becomes a vicious circle. You came to the right place! You should browze a lot of these threads as you will quickly see that you are not alone in your fear and anxiety and you will perhaps learn from how others have coped with it.
Avatar n tn So, now I am really upset. They removed the eggs from me yesterday and out of 18 they removed, only 3 were viable eggs. They are not going to blastocyte anymore since I only have 3. That is a day 1 culture result, according to the IVF coordinator, the 3 they were able to fertilize looked good and strong. I am bummed.....I don't think the chance of a successful pregnancy is very high when I only had 3 fertilize. Any advice to cheer myself (and husband) up?
Avatar f tn My doctor wants me to try 3 more months of OPK testing before turning to my husband, for testing. Is it possible to have very few eggs left? Also, is it possible that my daughter will also start menstruating very young too? My sister had an ovary protruding out when she was an infant that required surgery to correct, but resulting in only one active ovary.
Avatar f tn i was thinking if i was allowed to get a surrogate mother ..i would..but now im afraid of getting my eggs taken for that because i would need to be put asleep..i thought it was easier then that..,so now i just don't want to do anything. Be soo much easier if my fiance was just happy just the two of us because sadly no matter how much i want a baby myself..
Avatar f tn I have a lot of fear bcuz I feel I will do or something bad will happen if I drink, and I just don't trust my sobriety, like I'm not sure of myself, it's a horrible feeling especially when I do not want to drink bcuz I know my consequences, l keep thinking so negative I don't have positive feelings with my sobriety , why is this when I want sobriety and happiness so badly ?
385161 tn?1270081218 So why do doctors tell you how many eggs you have fertilized the day after the harvest if all of them wont survive? Some people on here just made me aware that my 9 fertilized eggs aren't likely to survive the next day before my transfer. so why would the doctors even tell patients they have fertilized eggs then? Why don't they just wait until the day of the transfer so you don't get your hopes up just to get let down. Urghh so frustrated.
403255 tn?1278813266 Okay, I have been eating lots of eggs recently since I am off of my meat. I have them scrambled or hardboiled cut up in salad and sometimes pickled. My OB said eggs were fine but I thought she said no more than two a day and my partner is sure she said no more than two a week! Does anyone know what the rule is?? Of is anyone seeing their midwife in next couple of days to ask?
535822 tn?1443976780 I will chop up the items I want (minumum for me is onions), saute them and once tender add the beaten eggs along with a couple of spoonfuls of cream cheese. I love what the cream cheese does for it.
Avatar f tn I do not produce eggs very well or a lot of them. 2 of 3 failed IVF had only 2 eggs each, but they were not mature enough to even try and fertilize. the 3 IVF I got one, but it did not take at implant. The Dr. wants to go to a donor. Each time for me there was only one folicle that was of normal size. I went for a second option today. They could have been not mature enough and just be bunches of cells like mine. Good luck to you and I feel for you.
Avatar f tn s egg but now I have to cook it completely to avoid salmonella infection.
Avatar f tn ) the health minister in the UK said theres more chance of getting salmonella from a piece of lettuce than there is from british eggs as its almost been eradicated, there are some things that need avoiding, others are just silly
Avatar f tn m not on any birth control and we Dnt use condoms and I still have yet to get pregnant could something be wrong with my eggs and his sperm or is it just not my time because starting to think we can't have kids
Avatar f tn If it comes back positive, does that mean all my eggs are fried? I know at 40 y.o. my chances are not the same as when I was younger. But I met woman 3-4 years older with a healthy pregnancy. Thanks for your support.
Avatar f tn Doesn't the risk of salmonella decrease greatly after the eggs have been heated to a certain temp?
Avatar f tn And it does involve having hormone treatment so the egg donor will produce a lot of eggs at one time. Then (if the intended mother has had a hysterectomy) a gestational carrier ("surrogate mother") would be needed. The only way you could give your husband a baby at this point is if an embryo was produced with donor eggs from a younger donor, and his sperm, and carried by a gestational surrogate.
Avatar f tn This only has occured within the last couple of years. I can eat products that contain eggs, but when it comes to eating scrambled eggs or fried, egg salad ect it makes me sick. I really like eggs and don't want to have to avoid them. Is there any way to 'get over' a food intolerance, especially if it has only emerged recently?
Avatar n tn As long as not raw its fine. Eggs are a good sorce of protein & B12! Helps with energy. Wity runny yoke does not mean its raw! As long as the whites not runny !

5724951 tn?1392422353 Can I eat sunny side up eggs? We're having breakfast for dinner and I love dipping my bacon inthe yolk.
Avatar f tn No eggs are good for you, just make sure they are cooked through the whole way of course :)
12162520 tn?1426012596 You are meant to cook them through as there is a high chance of salmonella in eggs but ive eaten them soft my whole pregnancy and bubba is fine as far as we know.
Avatar f tn Shouldn't be, no :)
Avatar f tn My egg-donor agency has a cut-off age of 30 for donors, and if the recipient has had any trouble conceiving with an earlier try, they won't even let the woman use a 30-year-old donor and nudge her to the donors who are 21. Sorry.
