Avatar n tn As long as you are asymptomatic, your much-lower-than-average diastolic readings are nothing to be concerned about. Height and weight are not factors in determining desirable BP targets. A resting heart rate of 55 is possibly indicative of bradycardia, although healthy young adults and athletes often have heart rates of less than 60. "Asymptomatic sinus bradycardia requires no treatment", according to the American Heart Association web site.
280234 tn?1532986249 I was wondering if any other young adults have been diagnosed with colon polyps? I'm a 34/f who was recently diagnosed with a 1.1 cm "Tubulovillous adenoma" during a colonoscopy (was seeing blood/mucous in stool for about 6 months). The lab report came back that it was benign, and my GI doctor said follow up with him in 3 years. From what my GI doctor told me, and what I've read about these, they are considered precancerous. Following up in 3 years makes me nervous.

Avatar f tn I am 18 years old, and i keep fainting. I first fainted in the shower after not having anything to eat or drink all day, which i know is my fault. However, i have continued to faint every day since which has been about 10 days in a row. I had paramedics called out to me and had tests done like blood, egg and blood pressure. My blood was fine, i have a very fast blood rate and low blood pressure.

Avatar n tn We're not sure what's happening to our son. He's 2 years old. Since he turned 1, he's been getting febrile seizures, he had 4 in 2 days the first time and spent 3 days in hospital. They said he had complex febrile seizures. Since then he's had maybe 8 more seizures and 2 of which didn't involve a fever at all. One time his day-care found him lying on the playground, limp. He's had normal EEG, MRI, EKGs and Chest x-rays.
