Avatar f tn Okay. Well, in all honesty, I would suspect just a wonky period rather than pregnancy at this point. Conceiving naturally past 40 goes down each year that goes by. I would see if a period starts in the next two weeks or if you get a period when you'd ordinarily have expected it based on your regular cycle. If there is an issue after that time, I'd consult your doctor. Lots of things can delay a period from stress, to changes in routine, hormonal issues, slow thyroid, etc.

187316 tn?1386356682 Getting pregnant while on the pill is often associated with bleeding during pregnancy that can be confused with a menstrual cycle. Many women who are on the pill have several bleeding episodes before they realize that something is not quite right. In cases like this a woman usually cannot accurately tell her doctor when her last real menstrual cycle was and an ultrasound is required to provide the mother and the doctor with an estimated due date.
937837 tn?1285350385 I thought after you got ones levels into range the menstrual cycle was supposed to normalize. I have had about 3 50 day cycles since I was diagnosed and started meds. Before my cycles were 37, 49, 34, stopped taking birth control in mid October. Was just wondering if anyone knows if this is normal for a women with hypothyroidism?
Avatar n tn The pain, sweats, i had usually was only during my menstrual cycle. I personally Think you should consult a grastronologist. I am leaning more to IBS. I have had nights where i woke up with unbearable pain, sweats, dizziness and fainting. Only to feel better once i went to restroom. Do ou notice if the pain is better when you lay on a certain side of body? If so, this is because the pressure on the one side or area has shifted. Kinda get the idea?
Avatar f tn Is it unhealthy (for the girl or guy) if you have sex while on your menstrual cycle?
Avatar f tn my periods have always been kind of all over the place. Does it make a difference if you conceive while on your menstrual cycle? What is the earliest you can feel symptoms? I am not on my period for a few days now but am having cramps like I am and I have woke up nauseous the past two mornings. I don't want to get my hopes up but I feel different. Any help is appreciated.
Avatar m tn Tks dear. I kinda have regular cycle. The longest delay was by 4 days based on 6mths trending. I have been experiencing menstrual cramp tugging and pulling since the day I missed my menses. I was thinking of waiting for a week or two to do the test again. Avatar f tn The chance of getting pregnant revolves around your ovulation cycle. You can look it up on an ovulation tracker. Put in when your periods are and it will tell you when your best/worst chance at getting pregnant is basically.
Avatar n tn can take couples years to concieve.however since your cycle is a bit wacky,i would concentrate on getting that regular first.once this is sorted then concieveing should be easy.since you will know your ovulation.failing that bed from cd12 onwards.until you are confident you have ovulated.there are plenty of signs you can use to confirm ovulation, all the best.
Avatar f tn Could this be some kind of break through bleeding? Did your doctor do any blood work on you besides the pregnancy test? What did he/she say was your next step?

Avatar n tn You could have fertility problems and the quicker you get it checked the quicker you will find out what is normal for you. If there is nothing wrong then getting on birth control will not only help with your bleeding but will regulate you and allow you to plan around your period easier. Good luck to you.
Avatar f tn A woman with a light period is not gaining much thickness in her endometrial lining during the early part of the menstrual cycle. This is usually an indication that estrogen levels are lower than normal. If estrogen levels are low, progesterone levels are likely to also be low and a woman may or may not ovulate with her cycles.
2187580 tn?1338053554 Go see a doctor as it's not normal. You should have your period about once every 28 days (or slightly shorter/longer) lasting no longer than 7 days. You may need to look into taking some birth control pills to help regulate your period so something like this doesn't happen, but if this is the only time it has, your doctor may decide to have you track it.
Avatar f tn I have been on my cycle for 21 days so far it has been very heavy! I will go thru a super plus tampon and super pad in two hours if that! I also have very large blood clots! I was wondering if this is concerning where I need to see doctor and what can it be? P.
Avatar f tn yes, the 24th was the first day. I don't know how long your cycle is but every now and then they change. I'm sure it's nothing to worry about. It happens to everyone.
