An MRI/MRA would be prudent. Perhaps an EEG. Getting some input from a witness will be helpful. Ask if there was any twitching or shaking or convulsions, for a start. Epilepsy is unlikely, but must not be ruled out. Usually medical treatment is only begun after the third episode. In certain individuals even small amounts of alcohol can precipitate a seizure. Even though some time has passed, a physician's examination and input would be in order.
Dear Emmy, welcome to the medhelp forum. Electrolyte disturbances are commonly responsible for muscle twitching and tremors. You mentioned in your post there are issues with electrolytes and GI system. Decreased magnesium levels mostly due to chronic alcohol intake and malnutrition, malabsorption and digestive system disorders can manifest as muscle spasms, twitching and tremors along with other symptoms.
The bladder problems, cardiac issues, fainting (did it start out as dizzy upon standing), the twitching, the headaches, (do you get multiple ones throughout the day? Maybe some around the same times each day?). The abdominal pain, is it below your ribs? Have they done any tests on the gallbladder? Since it’s after greasy or large meals?
I try to tell them this is more than fainting spells, but they have never seen it happen, so they say she is just fainting. I captured it on video a few days ago to show the neurologist. She is also bipolar and on medication for that. It looks like seizures to me, but i'm not a doctor. What could this be????
I have a 35 year old friend she has just been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes and high triglceroids she has had two fainting spells in the last 3 months to the day. I have been diagnosed with Generalized anxiety disorder and bipolar disorder, but I have been struggling for months with appetite problems, rapid weight loss, decreased vision, muscle spasms and twitching, headaches, and just about every other symptom of hyperthyroidism, but when I went to the doctor last (a few months ago when it all began) they took a blood sample to check and said that my levels of whatever they check for were normal.
My brother is taking 250mg of seroquel and 20mg of celexa, in addition to many other meds for tourettes, seizures and severe mental illness. For the past two years, he has been experiencing drop attacks. Lately, I've noticed his eyes twitching after fainting. He has been worked up for cardiac disease and had a 24 hr eeg but nothing has been found abnormal. Can these two drugs be the culprit. I read somewhere, they interfere with eachothers actions.
Recently I have been having a lot of leg twitching, and two similar lines such as the ones on your arm appeared on my leg. Just now I was putting on makup and saw that one appeared on my face. I was outside a while today working a track meet, I'm not sure if the sun is to blame or if it is linked with the other two markes that appeared a few weeks ago on my shin.

June of this year came with extreme fatigue to the point I would use my lunches to sleep in my car, blood in stool, dizzy and almost fainting. Always dizzy upon standing up and just feeling ill. Found out I had a stomach ulcer and that answered the blood issue.
July still extremely fatigued and dizzy happening more then not. Started getting muscle twitches in neck that would leave me wobbly and shaky but only left side.
Sometimes I have a very irregular heartbeat. It is very apparent, very discomforting and very scary. Most times it happens soon after I lay down to sleep. Sometimes I could trigger it by laying in a certain position(on my left side) and then sometimes not. Sometimes its completely random usually happening at night while I am laying down, but has happens while I am up and about. Sometimes cases only happen a few times a week, then other times it would happen every day.
m 120 pounds, i work out often, i do not have any problems that are visually identified, like deformities or fainting or anything of that sort. However, I have been experiencing plusatile tinnitus since 2013 and its 2015 now so you do the math, my pulsatile tinnitus presents itself as a whooshing noise in my right ear that goes along with my heart beat and gets louder with emotional stress, at night, or sometimes it just randomly gets louder but its almost always there.
