1421938 tn?1318603558 m so sorry. Yes, I went through 5 in a row. All first trimester in my case. My 6th pregnancy went full term and he is now 7 months. I had him one week before my 41st birthday. I too went through all sorts of testing and no reason was ever found. It's hard, but it can and does happen. There have been many women on here throughout the years with similar stories. As my OB said, if you are still getting pregnant, you can carry a full term baby.
Avatar n tn I am now nearly 12 weeks pregnant with what seems like a healthy baby .. we will know more in a few days but this pregnancy has been a lot stronger than the others .. it is hard to believe that it is actually happening after losses, but you just have to believe that it is bad luck that caused those losses and that you will have proper success soon. I also did everything I could preconceptionally .. trying to improve my egg health and my DH's sperm even though on paper we looked fine ..
1211508 tn?1343079605 I had what felt like 3 or maybe even 4 in a row. In that moment it felt like my normal heart beat would never return. I thought I might die. I didn't have any all day before that. It was definitely different than the ones I felt before. No pain anywhere just scary!!! Is this a concern?
731541 tn?1233494603 With Clomid you will usually ovulate later than usual. I don't know about the positive OPKs for so many days. Usually when you ovulate you will get a positive about 24 hours before actual ovulation. You won't keep getting positives for three days. Maybe you have a hormonal imbalance in that department (LH) because I don't know why you'd have positive OPKs so many days in a row. I remember when I took Clomid I FELT pregnant. I also felt ovarian pain on both sides.
469264 tn?1215088288 The problem is I have them when I am sleeping and get up to 10 in a row. I have had many tests done and my doctor just gave up and gave me anit-convulsant medication (500mg per day) that doesn't help at all. I get these dizzy/fainting spells around 2 - 4 days a month, where I need to take the day off because I get so many during the day. Seizures have been ruled out, as I have had all the tests and apparently my "spells" do not fall under the same characteristics as seizures.
Avatar m tn I would think it's referring to either premature atril beats (PACs) or premature ventricular contractions (PVCs). You would be getting 3 in a row to have a "triplet". Both of these are extremely common arrythmias and can be exacerbated by fatigue and stress.
Avatar f tn However, the neurologist at the time of admitting her into hospital had suspected a possibility of her having epilepsy and prescribed Keppra for her, an epileptic drug, 250mg twice a day and despite the fact that the tests show no signs of epilepsy he has suggested she continues to take Keppra and has in fact increased the dosage from 250mg twice a day to 500mg twice a day since a week ago. The tablets make her feel more dizzy and bother her stomach.
Avatar f tn However, i have continued to faint every day since which has been about 10 days in a row. I had paramedics called out to me and had tests done like blood, egg and blood pressure. My blood was fine, i have a very fast blood rate and low blood pressure. Before i faint, my heart starts to race and first aiders have counted my pulse and has come to 114 per minute. I can feel my heart rate pulsing really fast before i faint, and i also get very clammy hands.
Avatar f tn This response, often triggered by a sudden fright or other stress, results in a drop in your heart rate and a widening of your blood vessels. When these things happen, your blood doesn't get enough blood and you faint. Standing up suddenly from a lying position can also result in fainting because your blood "falls" into your lower body and doesn't get to your brain.
Avatar n tn t fall down the steps. She sleep-walked just a little while ago (2nd night in a row now) and was very disoriented, asking me "where's your friend, mom?" And when I walked her back to her bedroom began taking off shorts telling me she was "doing something." This is so strange - she is on doxycycline as well - could this be a side effect of the medicine? Btw I agree the 1st response is complete nonsense.
203342 tn?1328737207 We have a friend who's father passed out two Sundays in a row at Sunday school. They took him to the hospital the first time and ran a bunch of tests and couldn't find anything wrong with him. They did say his blood pressure was a little low. He refused to go to the doctor the second time saying they couldn't find anything wrong the first time. We can't figure out why he keeps passing out while in Sunday school.
1800762 tn?1326406164 what are your cbc #s? have talked with your doc about rescue drugs??maybe procrit or something so that you don't have to stop the riba...i had to stop riba until the procrit took effect....
Avatar m tn t 100% effective but I am more currently more concerned about its effectiveness when used twice in a row (given my circumstances as stated above). Thanks again.
Avatar n tn Hi, I have recently been experiencing something much like fainting spells. Twice now, i've found myself suddenly fallen across the table or on the ground, with no memory of how i got there. The strange thing is, i dont feel the pain of hitting the ground, I have no history of fainting, and i have managed to catch myself before i seriously injured myself. I just wanted to know if this was something i should be worried about. And im sorry if i put this in the wrong forum.
Avatar f tn I don't faint very often anymore, but my daughter still faints multiple times each week. She also has a fear of fainting in some situations. I don't really have any "fainting phobias" though, so it might be a normal fear for those who faint often.
Avatar f tn so today I was in the bathtub, wash my hair, and set up for a second and I started to get really light headed. after about 5 minutes it didn't go away so I went to stand up to open the bathroom door to let some fresh air in, and as soon as I stood up my vision got really blurred and I slowly fell down and I could not move. thank God for my dog licking my face to keep me conscious enough to get up. Is this normal?I am 8 weeks pregnant.
Avatar f tn I am concerned about some fainting that has gone on in the past year, and will be seeing my doctor soon, but would like to see if I can calm my nerves about my symptoms beforehand. I am a 20 year old college women and between last summer and this summer I have experienced 3 fainting spells, all under different conditions. The first two I feel like I have a basic understanding of why they occurred, but will share them anyways as I am concerned that my most recent one has no explanation.
Avatar m tn Well, I am positive you won't drop over any minute because the doctor would have done more than just call you. But what is it with some doctors. Why is it we have to be so persistant with them to just get information to help reasure us that we will be okay. I would call him back tomorrow and just ask him to explain the level of his concern regarding the 20 pvc's in a row. I can tell you that 3 pvc's in a row is not dangerous in a structurally sound heart.
Avatar f tn They gave me a Epi-pen with the attack because of the breathing and swelling of my face and lips for two days in a row. I was told to carry two pens with me at all times. The thing that worries me the most is when with the allergist my raynolds syndrome has been acting up and my hands were black at my fingertips. He also feels my thyroid is enlarged with a possible sist. To add to all of this I have had two strokes that were a dissection of the carratiod arterory.
Avatar f tn t have a lot of PVCs in a row like three to five they actually hurt when they happen in a row not like when I have the single ones and they feel like a butterfly kind of In the stomach but like my heart is stopping kind of pain fully. The only reason I know the difference is from the halter I'mweawearing. It almost feels like bad upper stomach spasm. I'm just wondering if these are dangerous. It happened when I sat down kind of fast?
Avatar n tn Have fainted 5 times in 4 years, twice after daytime hot situation can of cold lager, twice after much tea coffee chat ( so swallowing air?) again mid-day. Only one didnt seem strongly bloat/digestion related. Note Pres. USA Wilson claimed to have bloat/fainting pattern.
Avatar n tn An ICD is meant to detect an abnormal heart beat and covert it back to a normal one....it going off 21 times in a row just doesn't sound right to me. I would make the call to the doc that implanted it or your personal heart doc and let them know right now...it is obviously detecting something that it is having difficulty correcting and they may want to have you seen just to rule that out. I would call now if it is happening now or within the last couple of hours...
