10777943 tn?1412955415 I'm the same, I get terrible fainting spells during pregnancy. I know its not low blood pressure because I've had preeclamplsia through both pregnancies but interestingly my iron levels have been really low particularly this pregnancy. I had an iron infusion last week and haven't fainted since. Maybe get your iron checked?
Avatar f tn Infections can cause major problems if not addressed. I saw your other post and I thought about the possibility that you have a bad infection going on. Like I stated in the other post, you need PROMPT medical attention. We all can GUESS what it could be, but that is not in lieu of seeing an actual physician who give you actual treatment.
Avatar f tn Shortly after I stopped taking the Sertraline (in the middle of September 2019), I experienced fainting (while I was also on my period), but I experienced almost fainting the week after my period was gone, as well as the week after that. Those two occasions where I almost fainted were the only times I left the house and I felt faint only after ~30 mins of light walking. I stopped fainting/feeling faint after that.
Avatar f tn Is anyone else having problems feeling really dizzy or fainting? I passed out last week in the middle of cosco and almost again in Wal-Mart anyone else having or had this problem??
970599 tn?1247714164 i think i'm going to see a doctor. My mom is a little reluctant thought. She kind of thouught it could be from birth contorl pills, but it happened before i took them, so it wouldnt fix it. someone told me it could be Neurocardiogenic Syncope. I'm not sure..my neck is feeling better, still a little stiff.
Avatar f tn The first time I fainted in the bathroom while trying to poo was a year ago. I woke up having cramps so I decided to use the bathroom. I then sat there patiently and started doing my business. I began to feel dizzy and faint, lightheaded maybe. My feet felt weak, as if they were unable to stand up it was as if they were going numb or having that buzz sensation. I can't remember if I had diarrhea or if it was just normal ones, but I had trouble for some reason.
Avatar f tn There's no way any of us can give you any advice on this, although I know you'd like help and I'm sure a lot of us would like to help you. Fainting can result from simple or more complex problems, and only a doc is going to be able to tell you what's going on. He really, really, really needs to be seen by a doc - his own doc or one he sees by going to an ER.
Avatar m tn I am a 43 yr old male, not overweight and in decent shape. Ihave had fainting problems over the past 4 years. I used to think it was stress/anxiety issues but now I am not sure. I started going to my family doctor and the doctor diagnosis was vasovagal syncopy. I have been tested for the following and all came back normal: EKG's 2x a year Eco- cardiogram CT scan Blood work 1x a year Heart Monitor for 2 weeks - of course i did not faint when I had it.
Avatar n tn Other causes are anemia, claustrophobia, GERD, hypoglycemia or low sugar and some endocrine problems. Endocrine problems, such as an underactive thyroid (called hypothyroidism), overactive thyroid (called hyperthyroidism), adrenal insufficiency (called Addison's disease), low blood sugar levels, and in some cases, diabetes, may lead to hypotension and hence lightheadedness and an off balance feeling. Certain types of epilepsies and seizures too can cause similar symptoms.
Avatar n tn I cannot hold my breath at all anymore, with going into a headrush and fainting (and, when I do get these near fainting, and start breathing again, I feel very nauseated as my heart begins pounding away in my chest and abdomen again)
Avatar n tn Dizziness could be due to postural hypotension (blood pressure falling with change of position), internal ear problems and cervical spondylitis. All these cause dizziness when you get up from lying down position. Cervical spondylitis and ear problems also cause dizziness on changing the position of the neck. Other causes are anemia (in your case this is there), GERD, hypoglycemia or low sugar and some endocrine problems. Some types of seizures too behave in this way.
Avatar f tn My 14 yrs old has had fainting spells since she was in first grade. Her fainting spells looked like she was having a seizure. After she had several fainting spells, she was tested for seizures but all the test came back negative. About three years ago we find out she has an enlarged thyroid and hypothyroidism. About six months ago, she had a sleep study done because she waking up ever couple hours every night. The study showed that she was having seizures every couple minutes.
Avatar n tn I think dizziness is mostly a result of low blood pressure, or inner ear problems. Simply standing up too fast does not cause fainting normally.
Avatar m tn i visited a doc n i explained to him on my breathing issue n how ive been having abit of discomfort in the heart as well n i explained to him that both my mom and my twin bro have been having anxiety problems then he gave these pills n to get back to him n the pils that my dad dosnt want me to take do ther sideeffects n that there for adults... however im gonna go for second opinion one of these days. Avatar n tn I had dr's tell me my fainting, dizziness and arrhythmia's were "nothing" for so many years I believed them. I developed arrhythmia's and fainting at age 9 and didn't find a doctor who took me seriously until age 42 when they found I had roughly 50,000 pvc's and major problems with my autonomic nervous system.
Avatar m tn After drinking two bears I felt great, without any fainting problems. In the morning I was feeling great, but a pain in the pancreas occured, bigger then ever. Always when feeling like fainting a cola-cola (coke) used to help. Even 200 to 300 ml got me back to very normal. Blood sugar levels in December showed nothing. In April blood sugar levels falled from 100 to 28 in a hour. Arms trembling and feeling like fainting same time. Could that be a sugar crash?
Avatar n tn I mentioned to the doctor I had two fainting spells, first was November second was in January. No cause has been found. Could there be a connection? Also, explain colon inflammation please. Is that caused by the colitis? Thank you.
Avatar f tn Just before I found out what it was, I already resigned from my work because of lightheadedness and fainting spells. Now, I am only staying at home and I rarely feel that way. I'm only experiencing awareness of heartbeat and palpitations. But sometimes I can't even sleep alone because I have a feeling that I will faint. When I go out, I need to have someone beside me because I always feel that something will happen. And I am also overly sensitive to noise and light.
Avatar f tn Since I was about 10 years old I have been having these fainting spells. I never have them sitting down just when I am standing. I feel a pressure in my head, then my vision goes black, I hear a roaring in my ears, and they last for only seconds. When I come back I am slightly confused for a second then my head hurts a little, my heart is pounding, I sometimes have coldsweats, and my breathing is faster. I am 24 years old and in the last couple years they have been getting a little worse.
Avatar n tn see orgasm is the peak point of pleasure and by the time you reach it you would have generated and consumed so much energy that people get extremely exhausted after that.. a little dizziness is common and a little blackout too.. but not in extremes.. when u reach orgasmic state close your eyes and try to relax and feel the fullness.. lay down calm for some time and then go and wash up and have some water.. i hope you'll be fine.. hope this helps..
