Avatar f tn Has anyone passed out while pregnant? I had a scare the other day at work. I'm 17 weeks pregnant and it's my first pregnancy. Avatar f tn I agree to go to like a medexpress or urgent care. This happened to me several times with my first pregnancy and my doctor told me it's something that I should call about and be seen right away. It could be a problem with blood pressure, blood sugar or a sign of something else. That said, with me it was a problem with blood sugar levels. Drinking lots of water, eating steadily all day with plenty of healthy calories, and not overdoing my activity mostly resolved it.

1522952 tn?1301492670 It's possible, but it's difficult to say. Abdominal cramping isn't usually a sign of symptom of pregnancy. Neither is fainting. If it's been at least two weeks you can take a pregnancy test with first morning urine. If it comes back negative, wait a week or so and retest. You can also make a doctors appointment and discuss with them what the problem could be.

Avatar f tn Its quite common for this to happen during pregnancy. Its happened to me all 3 of mine. After you faint the first time you're bp is still low so if you stand up quickly or too fast it bottoms out again.. nothing to worry about. Next time you feel like you might faint lay down and put you're legs up or sit with you're head in between you're legs.

Avatar f tn I was fainting and feeling lightheaded for a few weeks when my blood pressure was really low. My ob said try moving around because the baby is sitting on an artery in your abdomen and the blood settles in your legs. When it happens I feel so awful, but the doctor says it's normal so I guess I'm not too worried.

The first time I was standing in line at Walmart when I started seeing black spots, then all the noise around me sounded far away. I sat down on a bench and broke out in a cold sweat. After about 5 minutes I was OK. I think it was low blood sugar. I needed to eat. It happened twice more, but that was the worst.
Avatar n tn I had that the beginning of my pregnancy. But not the black out part. I would talk to your doctor about that and che xd to see if its your blood pressure.
