A couple years ago I began feeling anxious about my fainting episodes. Now it is constantly on my mind. I'm always assuming I "might" faint in the most horrible of circumstances. I worry about crossing the street!
I have an assistance dog now that has almost completely cured me from my anxiety. Thank goodness! Does anyone else have a fainting phobia?
I had horrible timing with my fainting spells last pregnancy. I was always really sick with morning sickness and once I passed out while on the stairs and fell down half of them. Woke up at the bottom of the stairs so confused. It's an unfortunate thing but also a bit normal. The amount of blood in your body is increasing and that is usually what causes it. for the last week or so i have been feeling really faint and light headed all the time. i havent actually passed out but i have to keep lying down or sitting down because i feel so awful, and i keep thinking im going to pass out. i was abit sick at one point too. iv also been hot and cold, my hands and feet are normally cold but have been extra bad lately and i keep shivering. then i wake up in the morning soaked in sweat. i dont know if thats related to the faintness.

It could be anxiey or even just a vasovagal reaction to a specific trigger, which can be a bodily function or an external event. The symptoms are very similar.

Does anyone know what causes this? Is it something other than the needle or the ribavarin? Something he can avoid or do?
He is also having a very hard time sleeping at night thus he is extremely fatigued while at work and sick to his stomach. He notices that he seems to feel sick usually after he eats his lunch.

Also, epilepsy can be a dangerous illness if left untreated, she might have a fainting spell and seizure whilst driving a car or walking along a busy street and so forth. Also, if she does not have epilepsy, then at the very least her doc needs to find out why she's fainting so much, because that can indicate a heart or circulatory problem of some kind, or could even be because of some medication she's already on for some other health issue.
I was about 16 weeks with my 2nd (a boy) and would get so dizzy, I couldnt see or stand, a few times I did faint. I was terrified of what could be wrong. My doctor tested everything my heart, my sugar, even my head and everything came back normal. After you faint the first time you're bp is still low so if you stand up quickly or too fast it bottoms out again.. nothing to worry about. Next time you feel like you might faint lay down and put you're legs up or sit with you're head in between you're legs.

s side of the family that have heart problems and I have never heard from them or doctors a symptoms of fainting. Does your doctor know that you faint often? I am wondering if the lightheadedness and fainting are something else not caused from your heart? The symptoms that I have heard from people are tiredness, weakness, sharp chest pains, irregular heartbeat, and awareness of the heart working.
