m a 16 year old and have been experiencing spells of dizziness for about the last year as well as random numbness/tingling in my toes, feet, fingers, and hands. I am currently on zoloft for depression and sleep related problems but am coming off the medication with lowered dosages I also take loestrin.
I am a 39 yr old female. I have had several spisodes of fainting with numbness and tingling of all extremities. One of the episodes I had tempory paralysis of all 4 extremities as well as purple color and they curled up. I was told I hyperventelated. I have been having the numbness in my arms and legs nearly constant now and I now get chest pains. I do not know what to do or where to go. I have had many differing exams from CT's to MRI's to EKG's. All state normal.
for the past year my 18 year old daughter had episodes of fainting, She has seen doctors and had tests done and still no one can tell why she is getting this. is there anything else that u recomend?
After having an MRI, MRA, Lumbar Puncture, Ultrasound, X-Ray, EEG, EKG, and lots of blood work...all tests were normal. In addition to the numbness, and to make matters worse, she began having body tremors followed by the inability to move or speak, blackouts, and shortness of breath. She always regains movement and the ability to speak within an hour. Initially, doctors insisted that the depo shot had nothing to do with her symptoms, and all symptoms eventually went away completely.
I have been dealing with syncope, migraines, and numbness in the left side of my body for a year and a half now, I get sudden sharp pains in my fingers and bottom of my foot and toes. I get spikes and drops in my blood pressure and will have anywhere from 1-20 syncope episodes a day. I am frequently dizzy and sometimes lose my vision for a few minutes a day as well as my left side mobility. Literaly my left side gets stiff and weak.
This headache is accompanied by various neurological symptoms such as dizziness, numbness, loss of vision, loss of hearing etc, all of which are temporary. Hypothyroidism, hypoparathyroidism, adrenal insufficiency are a few things I would recommend you get investigated for. These can precipitate BIH. A spinal tap is a must both to diagnose the condition and to treat it.

I started suffering from PVCs, left arm numbness, chest pain, and dizziness over two years ago. I was sent to a cardiologist that did an echo, xray, holter monitor, event monitor, blood work and a stress test. All this came back normal except for the PVCs and PACs which they said were normal. I've been in the hospital three times in the past month for fainting spells of unknown origin. My cariovascular system checks out fine: good bp, EKG, heart x-ray, blood enzymes. My fainting spells are always proceeded by a tingling in my toes and fingers. This tingling turns into a partial numbness and then I get these burning sensations almost like I have a sunburn that works its way up to my face. Then my vision is effected, things don't swirl but sort of rock slightly.
My daughter who is 15 began having fainting spells about 7 months ago. We visited many doctors including experts in neurology and caridology. We tried many tests including blood work, eeg, ekg, holster monitor, tilt table, and epilepsy monitoring. We tried many medicines, some with some very bad side effects.
We recently visited a chiropractor. He did an x-ray and found that C1 & C2 vertebrae were out of alignment. He adjusted her using a Proadjuster.

I have been pretty well down all weekend as my body feels like it weighs a thousand pounds and when I do walk too much I have the dizzy verge of fainting spell. Two weeks until my appointment maybe they aren't worried until they see me. This is so frustrating I HATE feeling like this.
It actually feels tight and the odd sensation is not tingling nor is it really numbness just as if there is something there which I am assuming is from the swelling/pressure feeling. I also have the same sensation on the left side of my face and across my forehead at times. I have been experiencing considerable dizziness and a few episodes of near fainting. but pain persists, only feels better when cold pack nums area. Unable to take pain killers due to nausea and fainting. Doc advises will send me in three days to pain clinic. Do other women expierence? Will I always have pain? Any other methods to deal with this?

8 weeks ago, she is at work, and feels very dizzy, and has some numbness on her left side. She has very low blood pressure and comes close to fainting. They take her to the ER, assuming a stroke. Tests show there was no stroke and send her home.
The next night, the numbness on her left side returns, and her face is drooping. We take her to the ER again and they do several more tests, including an MRI, CT, bloodwork, etc.
