Avatar f tn A Year ago when I used to exercise everyday I used to feel really tired and unusual afterwards, Out of a sudden I would feel severe spinning in my head, like a fainting episode with tunnel vision and sweating, headache, nausea and dizziness - then I would stop exercising and have to lay down because I would feel extremely tired. Avatar f tn Most people do loose a lot of weight. They have bad nausea and vomiting. Some people tend to want to totally avoid food when their stomach feels upset, so they loose lots of weight. I know in my case, when I was little, my mom was the type that always soothed bad feelings with comfort food, and taught us kids to do the same. When I started having the nausea, I discovered that if I didn't let my stomach get completely empty, the nausea wasn't as bad.
Avatar f tn Since then I have suffered from symptoms including nausea and vomiting, intermittant diarrhoea, extreme tiredness (I can sleep up to 16 hours solid), fainting, muscle cramps and stiffness, loss of appetite, itchy skin which comes out in a rash if I scratch, and weight loss which has accelerated over the last few weeks. I have also developed what appears to be a tan, which seems odd since we don't get a great deal of sunshine here in the UK.

Huge weight-loss, nausea, vomiting, intense thirst, abdominal pains, tiredness, weakness, insomnia and died skin around the ankles were the first symptoms. I had been checked for diabetes (which I'm not), celiac (which I am), ovarian check-up (nothing, not even a cyst), hypothyroidism (which I got), anemia (I have a severe anemia as well). After taking iron, b12 vitamins and levothyroxine treatment, I felt a little better for about 3 months.

Avatar f tn This is my first pregnancy, I'm 8.5 weeks, and I'm worried about the fact that I keep losing weight... I know it's not crucial to really gain in the first trimester, but thanks to nausea and a lack of appetite I can't even maintain. I started this pregnancy at 125 and now I'm down to 118. At my ultrasound last week the doctor said my baby was measuring a little big so I guess I shouldn't be too worried?
Avatar f tn I'm 9 weeks along too and I've lost 4 lbs. I asked my doctor and he said it's normal because of the nausea. He said you'll start to gain weight again around the 2nd trimester.

Avatar f tn Is it normal to lose weight? I've had nausea and vomiting for the past three weeks, it's not an everyday thing though. I'll throw up one day and won't throw up till like 3 days later. I'll be 11 weeks tomorrow and my weight when I found out I was pregnant was 127. Now I weigh 122.
Avatar f tn I havent had any kind of morning sickness, so I know I'm not losing weight for that reason. I get nauseous when I smell something that don't agree with me but have never got physically sick. I am drinking plenty of fluids and always have water with me where ever I go. My friends and family tell me its normal to lose weight before gaining it. I do take walks everyday and I'm not sure if that could have something to do with my weight loss too or not.
