My son has been told he has a rare eye disease and retina specialist & Bascom and Palmer have no idea what it is........he has scarring on both retinas and has been tested over and over for everything possible that could be doing this. PLEASE .....does anyone have any suggestions??? We are hopeful that someone out there will be able to help.

i had 2 litters of kittens that were nursing off of the same mother and all of them died and their symptoms included: diarrehia, then they got weak and couldnt walk and their bodies got cold and they would meow as they were dying an di was just wanting to know what this sounded like?? I am not sure about the diseases and symptoms in cats/kittens and i would appreciate any info u have.
Why not take her to the vet to see for sure whether or not she is pregnant? If she is, the vet will be able to tell if the kittens are too large for her to deliver thhem safely. If there is a danger to her, it is possible to have her spayed right now, even though she's pregnant. Of course, she won't have the kittens, but you won't have to worry about her getting pregnant again in the future either.
I have 6 kittens and my youngest sister (she is 11) stepped on a blanket and she heard a crack and when she looked back one of the kittens was sitting there with a bloody nose and was pawing at its head. The mom of it was outside so we put the kitten in the room away from the other kittens and she cleaned it up and put it back under the bed now it barely moves it's head just little side to side motions.
We have some kittens about 6 weeks old and they have been acting lethargic and having green ***** eyes and diarrhea. One of our adult cats (not their mother) has symptoms of Feline Leukemia? and I am concerned about these kittens. Is there anything we can do for this? Is there any treatments available that is not real expensive that can be administered to them?

I am 21 now and i have been suffering from blackouts/fainting since i was about 14yrs old. At first i was told by my GP that it was hormonal, then that it was something called vagesvagrel syndrome (i think thats how it's spelt). However this last few month i'm still suffering and knew it couldn't still be hormonal, i've had an ECG test done and been told i have an ectopic heart beat but this is not related to my fainting. Do you have any suggestions?
It almost feels like, I am fainting in my sleep. Could that be possible? Last time, my son was with his dad, I woke up and panicked because my 5 yrs old son wasn't home. After an hour, after I realized what day it was and where I am, I knew he was with his dad. I do have a history of a brain tumor, which was removed in 2005. And I remember, back then, I used to feel the same way, when I would faint.But NEVER in my sleep. I have been feeling good since the surgery.
my cat who is a loving sweet cat had a litter of kittens we re homed all but three and they wont stop feeding. they are almost five months old now and i started to see the mom get very sick and she doesnt have any energy. i had someone come out and look at her and he said the kittens are killing her. they are taking all her nutrients and so she is slowly dying. i have not idea how to stop them and i dont want my cat to die. what do i do? how do i stop them?
Cat colds/flus are exceptionally rare. If it actually was a cold/flu, it would be a virus in which it just has to run its course. All you could do is make sure the kitty is eating and getting enough fluids. However, like I stated, a true cold/flu virus in cats is rare.
Now, URI (upper respiratory infections) is VERY common in cats and often is mistaken as a cold because it looks like it with runny nose, stuffed up, icky eyes, sneezing, ect.
It can be many other things also they are so fragile during their first few months of life. Many Fosters stop fostering because losing kittens you raise is such a hard thing to go through.
Look at it this way, Bagadeesh had a wonderful kitten life with all the playing, running, and love he could have wanted. He played his heart out and this was the way he was meant to go.
I have a two year old Siamese cat that had four kittens yesterday. Out of those four, only one lived. Today, I picked her up and thought that she had feces hanging from her, but realized it was feet. My vet will not help me, they do not have a payment plan and I was told that she would need a c-section to have the remaining baby or babies removed. My 16 year old daughter was recently diagnosed with a Double Aortic Arch/Vascular Ring. She has been through all testing and will now have a broncoscopy done tomorrow. She has a very rare Auto Immune disease called Wegener's Granulomotosis. She has had over 11 surgeries on just her trachea. They need to go in every 6-8 weeks to dialiate her trachea. Recently her ENT noticed a second lower stenosis in her trachea.
1)I have three kittens.But the second kitten,Chip keep sucking others kitten's butt.Yes,their mother was lost after2 weeks when they were born and never come back.But this kitten keep sucking the youngest kitten anus and eat their poop more than eating normal cat food and she died today.Why is the reason she died?Is it about the poop toxic?
2)The youngest one got slamed by a door when the wind blows he was 1 month old.So,he can't use both of her back legs.
Im a tiny bit overweight due to the antidepressants that Ive been on. As far as I know there is no history of heart disease in my family. I had an ECG about a month ago due to a racing heart (cause was dehydration) and it came back normal. Ive also had blood tests done to detect heart disease which were also normal. My blood pressure is "perfect" according to the doctor and my cholesterol is normal.
