Common Questions and Answers about Fainting in your dreams

fainting

Avatar f tn when they sleep in deep night, they will have the extraordinary corresponding horrible dreams, in the dreams, they do some kind of terrible Belial pressuring them or being hunted down, but they can not cry out or escape, which are called nightmare in iatrology. Vague terrors in light sleep, which is known as sleep paralysis.
Avatar f tn Just a guess, but I think you were dreaming that you were awake. I have had dreams, vivid dreams in which I could not move. Those I still remember were frightening dreams, or nightmares. I do not have them often, but I do dream every night and I can move in my dreams. My personal interest in this Community is my problem with trouble mares - not night mares. I believe a solution is to become Lucid when dreaming, that is know you are dreaming when you are.
Avatar m tn Thanks for sharing, would ask further whether in the past your wife experiences some symptoms such as fainting feeling/sensation/light-headache/dizzy after surgery? Recently in first week of march 2010, we went back to follow up second month, and told the neurosurgeon some symptoms still persist, such as often to have fainting feeling/sensation like light-headache/dizzy, stiff neck/shoulder, some time there slight chest pain move around different area of chest, slight numbness on leg/hand.
Avatar f tn s impossible to lie down - in a sitting position for example you can lower your head in between your knees. Because your head in this case will be lower than your heart the blood will flow back to your brain. It is very scary indeed but hopefully you can prevent fainting when you get the warning signs.
1532724 tn?1292253962 I JUST KINDA SLUMP OVER AND SLEEP AND FLASHBACK TO THINGS IN MY LIFE SOME REAL SOME FEARS SOME DREAMS. I AM SCARED! I HAVE PTSD ADHD GENERALIZED ANXIETY PLUS TO MORE I CANT REMEMBER. I ALSO HAVE NERVE PAIN, A BAD SHOULDER, AND MY LEFT LEG TINGLES AND IS VERY WEAK.
Avatar f tn Since then, I have been prone to dizziness (not vertigo, but lightheadedness), fainting, headaches, tremors in the hands and twitches in facial muscles and legs, disturbed dreams, irritability, sensitivity to smells and funny tastes, trouble focussing vision, sleeping problems, as well as facial numbness on my right side. I also have increasingly troubling issues with memory, and performing simple tasks. I'm finding it very difficult to concentrate.
Avatar n tn I have copied this out for you, it happens quite frequently While there are uncommon serious causes of passing out in children, the majority of fainting episodes are brought about by reasons that are neither serious nor life-threatening. The most common reason for fainting in children is called vasovagal syncope [VAY-so-VAY-gull SEENK-oh-pee). Vasovagal syncope is an abnormal reaction of the nerves to otherwise normal circumstances. These nerves dictate the heart rate and blood pressure.
Avatar f tn I wish I was having dreams about my baby..i just keep having dreams my hubby is leaving me and I wake up freaking out!!
Avatar n tn Having a pinched nerve in your neck does not cause, these feelings.Or having arthritis in your neck.Make an appointment as possible though. You may need an MRI of your brain,or catscan of your brain. It could be seizures or pin strokes.I can't say for sure I am not a doctor.Take care of your self.Harttohart.
938718 tn?1323783514 I think your best bet is to consult an OB. Unfortunately, from my experience and others, doctors tend to be very pessimistic about conception in your 40s. Should you conceive, see an OB right away. I think if a woman wants to try, she should. Like any woman trying to conceive, a back-up plan for life after ttc and a rationalized end date should help in coping with the fertility roller coaster.
8644515 tn?1411138777 I'm about to make 16 weeks, and I find out my baby's sex at my gender reveal party with my family and friends on November 30th. Since I got pregnant, I've said I'm having a girl... although I've had a total of 4 dreams of it being a boy. My entire family and friends predict it's going to be a boy. So now I'm confused and I'm not so sure anymore lol. Has anyone expirienced dreams with the sex of their baby, and it turned out to be that same sex?
Avatar f tn I have a lot of sexual dreams about women too. And they seem so real!
Avatar f tn In 1977, Allan Hobson and R McCarley discovered that electrochemical pulses from the brain stem create the stage of sleep in which most dreams occur. Known as REM, which stands for rapid eye movement, this stage of sleep guides the paralysis of all voluntary muscle groups, except for the eyes. Scientists believe these brain pulses from the pons region of the brain stem may create the seemingly random shifts in dream scenery for which dreams are so well known.
Avatar f tn I would advise you to discuss your symptoms with your primary care physician who may then refer you to a sleep specialist for further evaluation. Hope this helped and do keep us posted.
1532724 tn?1292253962 i keep flashing back in time and passing out...i need help i dont understand. i am new to this site would someone please talk to me???
Avatar n tn It all depends on the extent but before my recovery from schizoaffective disorder I had this happen all the time. And I do believe it was part of it was part of the psychiatric disability although it may not have been psychotic but more like "unresolved issues" which is what dreams are. I would always dream that I was back in high school and things weren't working out. Then as I was waking up I would further remember I was in college.
Avatar f tn Anyone ever have orgasms in your sleep, right before Aunt Flo comes? Or am I the only weirdo?
Avatar f tn My dreams are indeed quite vivid at times, but not always in a bad way. Sometimes they remind me of how wonderful it was to dream as a child. Other times, I wake up and start stressing or worrying about things my subconscious already understood are possible but I wasn't ready to accept yet or are so unlikely that it only causes undue stress.
162784 tn?1227296050 I felt I was under attack in the dream but in dreams (for everyone, not just people whose disabilities cause abnormal dreams) the different characteristics of the person are split into parts. So it was not just me under attack, in being antagonistic towards people on a debating site I was acting aggressive and authoritarian like Cartman and like the bulls had "lost my head".
1664685 tn?1333727482 I have been so worried..everynight I go to bed I wake up crying because of crazy dreams that I am having about my baby..like the one last night I was dreaming that I was giving birth to a little girl but when she came out there her skin around her belly button and lower back was decaying and the nurses wouldn't help her they just set her on the bed and watched her die..in every dream that I have I always have a girl and she always dies..
1448936 tn?1363206346 I always have really detailed, long dreams which are often really scary and just plain bizzare and when i wake up i just feel weird and anxious. Maybe your dreams have something to do with it...or just that your not sleeping well. Anyhow, your not alone with this cause it happens to me all the time! I told this to my psychologist and she said if it really bothers me to take benadril before I go to bed so i sleep heavy through the night.
Avatar f tn I am 18 years old, and i keep fainting. I first fainted in the shower after not having anything to eat or drink all day, which i know is my fault. However, i have continued to faint every day since which has been about 10 days in a row. I had paramedics called out to me and had tests done like blood, egg and blood pressure. My blood was fine, i have a very fast blood rate and low blood pressure.
Avatar n tn Get into to see your Dr. It could be that your blood pressure shot up or maybe your blood sugar got too high or low. If your still not feeling well today you could go to a med center. Do you have any of those close to you? The headache is what has me concerned. I'm not trying to scare you but it possibly could have been a stroke. The med center can check for all the things I mentioned. Please let us know what you find out.
