I have had a burst aneurysm which was coiled in Feb 2005 and then further coiled in June 2005. The coils are platinum and as such are not really metals- as in do not affect x-rays, scans, mri's, mra's. you can even go thru the airport scanners ok- I know because I have done all of this. I have very regular check ups and they have since found 2 more small aneurysms, which does concern me. I have other chronic medical conditions which I believe have impacted on all this.
Did they ligate / tie the tubes or use the Essure coils? The coils have been problematic for a number of women. Both methods cause scar tissue (adhesions) which can cause discomfort or pain. If she hasn't had an ultrasound that would be a good idea to rule out other problems.

For those that are interested in tubal ligation have you had your doctor said you have to wait six weeks after delivery? I don't want to wait that long.

- Microscopic Varicocelectomy April 2013. Failed with varicocele becoming much worse than before surgery. (Only 1 vein ligated).
- Varicocele Embolization June 2013. Improved the situation greatly but was not 100% successful. The strange thing was that I did not have a varicocele while standing after the procedure, but only experienced the discomfort and "pooling" of blood while sitting.

20 weeks pregnant and i have had an essure and a tubal and was told i am very luck to still be carrying my baby because one of the coils from the essure migrated to my uterus is there anyone with a similar issue
From the time I was 19 I have developed hives, swelling, and itching when I go into the sun. It doesn't happen every time I'm in the sun, but it's more likely to happen when the sun is shining very brightly. I've discovered that if I can get out of the sun when my skin starts to tingle and burn, the reaction is not as bad.
I explained to her that I had the essure procedure done (she had no clue what I was talking about) but she mentioned that she could see pretty clearly a device or something on my uterus. Do you know how far in the uteturs the coils are suppose to be? I'm very concerned regarding having the coils misplaced in my uterus insted of being on my tubes.
s that where found after a brain scan , i have had headaces , sore neck , blurred vission in just my right eye ever since , last week i went to the university of michigan for test's and they said they found a problem with my " occipital nerve " on my right side , they want to do a nerve block this week wednesday and talk about what to do with the other two aneurysms , i was told there two small to coil thats why the only coiled one , my question is this , has anyone else had coil
If you do not want any more children, you can look at an IUD such as mirena, which lasts about 5 years, or Essure coils in the fallopian tubes, which are permanent birth control and can be placed in the doctors office. You could also look at a uterine ablation which cauterizes (burns) the inside of the uterus so you no longer have periods and don't get pregnant. You have options to prevent pregnancy if you don't want to take birth control pills.
Also my pelvic hurts where the coils are after playing sports. So I am going to rest for a few more months and let it heal more. I did wait a whole month after embolisation to star working out again.
Has anyone else had this problem? Do you think I should continue to rest and not push it so hard for a few more months?
after my 6 th child I decided to get my tubes tied.my youngest is 9 years old now.my oldest is 23 years old.just in the last 3year's I have been getting cramping so bad that it feels like contractions really bad pain.but it has only happened a few times and each time it was right after sex anyone have this happen? My god it hurt it's contractions like every 2 to 3 minute's and last for 2 minutes.can anyone help..
I had the essure procedure done in 2011after I had my 7th child. please tell me why my periods are so painful and heavy now after my procedure? The literally make me sick and nauseous .
When I was registering and didn't know what brands were good etc I got on Amazon typed in the type of thing I was looking for (like "crib mattress" for you) and arranged the his by highest customer review. That made it so I could read what a lot of different ppl had to say about a lot of different things abc helped me decide.
