492921 tn?1321289896 So this afternoon I laid down on the couch I fell asleep so I decided to go back to bed I stood up and walked about 6-7 feet and everything went black and I had to hold myself up on the wall my knees were wobbling and I almost fell over. I know that getting light headed is common in pregnancy when you move from laying down to sitting or standing to fast. It just scared me that everything wen black and I almost fell.

Avatar f tn I get the same exact thing in the morning too even before I get out of bed. In fact, if I wake up during the night I can feel the tachycardia. I get extreme fatigue also, and the anxiety of the condition is starting to get to me too. My BP is low too, but it seems to go up when standing. My heart rate is ridiculously high in the morning and I can feel flutters in my throat. Do you get that? Good luck. I hope you feel better soon. Just wanted you to know you're not alone.
Avatar f tn No I don't faint specifically during my monthly actually not sure if it's related but I've notices latly my period has been late. Not sure if it wo be this month expecting it next week but really it'll probably be at least a week or 2 late. I mentioned dizziness to my doctor a couple weeks ago he didn't say anything though he didn't really give me the chance just over looked it.
Avatar f tn For the next few weeks I was feeling really tired all the time, nauseated and getting bouts of dizziness so I basically spent weeks in bed. Due to being so inactive and hardly eating I ended up in hospital for 5 days with painful impacted constipation. Since coming home from the hospital I still feel like I need to sleep all the time, nauseated, dizzy and fainted a further 2 times with a few near misses.

Avatar f tn I take Rebif injections 3 times a week and my question is this does being dizzy and having fainting spells a part of the MS symptoms. In March this year I fainted after getting out of bed in the middle of the night and hit my head and had to go to the emergency room for stitches. They ran blood tests and said that all was in normal range.
Avatar n tn After the last couple of years I have some strange experiences whilst in bed at night. After soon going to bed but not to sleep I have a sudden feelings that my brain has been unplugged, it then feels like in the next few seconds before I black out completely, in which time I experience the following.

Avatar f tn After taking milk out of her diet, the frequent vomiting stopped and the fainting episodes seemed to stop.....for awhile. Then, four weeks ago she was in her bedroom and cut herself accidentally with a pair of scissors...she went out. She doesn't know how long she was out. She was confused and pale.

Avatar f tn She should definitely grant it being that you are fainting because that not only harms you but baby to. Be careful and get that bed rest boo! You need it... I know how it is working and in school.
Avatar m tn My dad rolled him on his side and tried waking him up and he got up eventually. He does not know what happened or how he got in his bed, where he walked to about five minutes after he got up. So if anyone knows what this is or what is causing this it would help me out a ton thanks.
Avatar n tn I have copied this out for you, it happens quite frequently While there are uncommon serious causes of passing out in children, the majority of fainting episodes are brought about by reasons that are neither serious nor life-threatening. The most common reason for fainting in children is called vasovagal syncope [VAY-so-VAY-gull SEENK-oh-pee). Vasovagal syncope is an abnormal reaction of the nerves to otherwise normal circumstances. These nerves dictate the heart rate and blood pressure.
Avatar f tn I get mine sometimes when I adjust myself in bed or look too quickly one way and then I am clutching something thinking I am going to faint and feel dizzy and its just gone...... If you are worried about this though I would talk to your doctor. Every symptoms like this is important. Vertigo is part of many illnesses. I am not saying you have vertigo but merely saying i have had similar and mine was put down as vertigo ok. Its not nice dont like it one bit lol.
Avatar n tn After 24 hrs and multiple episodes walking to bathroom, in bed, etc. they determined that her brain and cardiac rythms were all normal and diagnosed her with psychogenic fainting/seizures. They have gotten better as she has gone back to school and we have tried to get back to normal. However they do continue, once or twice at school, most of the times at home. I am not convinced that this is stress related, however I am willing to consider that stress does not help.
Avatar f tn Sounds like she showers in the morning? Before breakfast? What about a little low blood sugar? Tossing out thoughts.
Avatar f tn Hi. Thanks for responding. You asked what I'm usually doing right before I feel "faint"... It's happened on more than one occasion early in the morning when I'm in the shower. I get up at 4:45am and I'm fine when I get up, but when I'm in the shower, I don't even have enough time to wash all the soap off when it starts to happen and I have to jump out and run to the bed and lay down. Within just a few minutes, I'm fine again.
Avatar f tn has anyone else have felt like almost fainting in the shower or even standing inline at the grocery stores?
1512628 tn?1304974064 What in the world is the difference? Every time I end up in a different hospital they call my fainting something else. (Each time they get my records from each other). As of yet there remains to be no ryhme or reason why I went from the occasional fainting to a wheel chair so that I could leave my bed and crawling to the bathroom behind!!! Any thoughts???
Avatar f tn ve had a couple of concussions resulting from my frequent fainting episodes. One concussion in particular resulted in frequent partial seizures. Luckily the seizures subsided on their own within a year. I do occasionally have partial seizures after fainting episodes though, but I don't have epilepsy. I've never broken any bones, which I am quite happy about. I've gotten many cuts, scars, and bruises though.

Avatar f tn Hi, my name is mike and I'm a very healthy 26 year old. Last night I had what I suppose would be considered an anxiety attack and I wanted to make sure it wasn't something more serious. I've read a little bit about anxiety attacks and I understand that fainting is very rare which is why I am concerned. Last night I got into a fight with my girlfriend just before bed. We have been driving across the country for two days now so we are already stressed and this added to it.
