Fainting high anxiety

Common Questions and Answers about Fainting high anxiety

fainting

Avatar m tn It could be though because anxiety comes with a very long list of symptoms. I do think fainting would be a rare one though. You've tried antidepressants and there was no change. It really does make me wonder if this is anxiety because if it were the AD's should have helped. Have you had your blood sugar tested? If it gets to high or to low you can faint.
Avatar f tn I have noticed it comes when I have high anxiety or stress. I usually get the worst anxiety around the time just before I start my menstrural cycle, I can confirm that this was the case it happend with the second one. I have told my Dr about this and she just brushed it off. I have recently been experiencing a lot of stress and my toes have been very cold and tingling but only in my toes, my feet are warm and I have full feeling.
Avatar n tn they may recommend you fix that with a diet that includes foods high in iron --- ie/ red meat, red kidney beans -- or they may suggest you supplement with iron pills, no higher than 18mg, or you may also have low blood sugar levels.
Avatar m tn EKG was normal, and ER said blood work was fie, but according to lab results his MCH is high (30.4), MCHC is high (35.7), RDW is low (12.0), and basophil % is high (1.3). What does this mean?
Avatar f tn I have to concentrate on my breathing and I feel like fainting every day. Does anyone know what I can do?
Avatar f tn Thanks sillygirl- I am guessing u had what's called a vasovagel response causing u to faint. I have panic.disorder for many yrs. Also a diagnoses of ms and autonomic dysfunction. I am told my bp bottoms out causing me to.faint which I.agree with but twice when I fainted earlier in the day my anxiety had been very high and I often wonder if there's a connection. I am sorry u lost your son. My heart goes out to u.
Avatar f tn To begin , my family nor I have a history of fainting or cardiac arrest . However , my grandfather died from a stroke . I took a ECG a couple of weeks back and it came out abnormal . My QT was 383 and QTc was 485 . My cardiologist said this isn’t to worry about because she sees it often in people with anxiety . She did say she wanted me to take an ECHO, Event Montior and Stress Test in a couple weeks .
Avatar n tn the first time i faint was on my first day in Gym, which the coach assured me its natural ! then after few weeks i got a feeling that i can't take my breath to the max capacity of my lungs but those symptoms went away after a couple of weeks ..
18860756 tn?1468945709 Thank you for your advice, I am scheduling an appointment with a psychologist ASAP to address this anxiety issue. It's getting pretty bad, the fear of fainting again is overwhelming and my anxiety is building up at full speed. I really appreciate your response!
341190 tn?1295467125 actual fainting spells MOST likely would not be CAUSED by anxiety. You have developed anxiety as a result of the fainting episodes. The symptoms you mention you have each morning absolutely sound like anxiety. I would ask your doc about recommending a therapist since medications aren't really an option right now. Some psychotherapy may head this off before it balloons into a bigger issue for you.
Avatar n tn same here. I hate that feeling.
Avatar f tn t want to alarm you however, I recently went through a long 2 months of thinking i had a heart problem when it was just anxiety. I had a really fast heart rate due to anxiety. How low is your pulse? Mine gets as low as 53 BPM without feeling dizzy or weird, which is common in young, active, healthy people.
Avatar n tn Did they test his glucose again while in ER? What scans were performed? Are you in area where there is high heat? If yes, was he well hydrated prior to going outside? I would schedule a visit with a doctor for a full health examination which should include stress testing [heart], and an A1c test to see how well he is controlling his glucose levels.
Avatar f tn Was at the doctors the other day my anxiety was pretty high and i felt a panic attack on the way. They took my O2 levels and ot was at 94%...whitch caused me to freak out terribly. They didnt seem to alarmed...but what would cause a slightly low reading? I was not wearing nailpolish or anything. I was short of breath but mainly from anxiety...i got beat red in the face and felt like fainting. Im only 19 and 29 weeks pregnant. Someone ease my mind! I think i am going to buy a pulse ox for home.
1806721 tn?1554333407 ve been feeling heart palpitation (pulse ~115/min), headache, dizziness, weakness, and occassional fainting spells since then. Also, I was on Medrol 24mg/day for the past 4 days. Not sure if it contributes to this. Overall, I'm feeling very crappy. My doctor says that I need to get the dental problem solved first and my BP/pulse will be back to normal. I've been in many illness before and through many stressful situations, never had any issue w/ blood pressure.
Avatar n tn This occurs 3-4 times a week. Because my previous High BP, fainting type of symptoms happened around 8PM, every day when it is around 8PM, I get very anxious, nervous and sometimes to the extent of losing consciousness... I feel very fatigued. Can someone tell me what is going on, what is the right course of steps I need to take to understand the root cause of my problems, so they can be treated. I truly appreciate any thoughts/comments/suggestions.
Avatar f tn Okay so 2 weeks ago I had this full blown panic attack and when I went to the er they found blood clots in my lungs. I was in the hospital for a day. Anyway, a few days after my panic attack I was just dizzy and could barely see. Now I feel like I'm high. All of the time. It's scary and I can barely take care of my baby. Time feels so slow and it feels like if I blink I'll be somewhere different. Idk how to explain it. It's just scary and I wanna feel better.
Avatar f tn I have had this anxiety since I was a teenager. It first happened when we were at church, but it now happens regularly when I am confronted with certain situations. In short, I faint. I don't know why, but usually it is when I am in an uncomfotable situation (i.e. Weddings, Formal events with a lot of people, etc.)... The weird thing is, it has morphed from 'fainting in church' to 'fainting from worrying about fainting!'... Which is why it happens at large formal events.
Avatar n tn I'm having an abnormally high heart rate during sexual arousal. 130s, 140s, and higher. Just to clarify, this occurs during arousal, not the physical act of sex. I realize that physical exertion would increase the heart rate more. But, this seems high for just arousal, although I know that adrenaline is involved. Once my heart rate reaches around the 130s, I stop because it feels uncomfortable and I'm too scared to proceed. This just started around three weeks ago.
Avatar n tn Cold chills can come from having the flu, or perhaps in your case with the fainting, could be something as simple as you not having enough protein to eat on a regular basis. Protein is like the wood in a fire, it burns and heats up a person. And if you ain't got no fire, you'll get cold. In addition, protein gives you energy, and if you don't have any, you can get pretty weak and light-headed. But there are many reasons why this happened to you, those are just my top two choices.
Avatar n tn I agree with margypops, it may be your blood sugar being too low or too high. Also, your blood pressure could be a problem best to check it out soon with your doctor.
Avatar f tn Did u try finding out the reason?? I know fainting can be caused by many things during pregnancy but some can lead to more complex situation.. U ahould consult ur doctor as it could be due to high or low blood pressure or dehydration etc...
Avatar f tn I'm glad to hear that your assistance dog has helped you with your fainting anxiety. I've always wanted an assistance dog, where did you get her? Your profile mentioned her name being Muffy, what kind of dog is she? I've had fainting anxiety for a while. Whenever I come near to a set of stairs, or public bathroom for example. There are just certain situations that I really don't want to faint in!
Avatar f tn Hi, my name is mike and I'm a very healthy 26 year old. Last night I had what I suppose would be considered an anxiety attack and I wanted to make sure it wasn't something more serious. I've read a little bit about anxiety attacks and I understand that fainting is very rare which is why I am concerned. Last night I got into a fight with my girlfriend just before bed. We have been driving across the country for two days now so we are already stressed and this added to it.
802626 tn?1238780896 I had mono junior yr in high school 06. After I got better I started having breathing problems and went to the hospital because of hyperventilation. 1708062 tn?1307953570 if you're fainting you should see a cardiologist asap not wait on her; the cardio will most likely send you to an EP (electrophysiologist) also. Have you ever fainted before last week? or have a history of dizziness? you should have a tilt table test to find out what's going on with fainting esp since you're also having some type of arrhythmia...
