549681 tn?1229724499 OK folks, I could use a little encouragement. I'm 9 months post RAI for a toxic nodule. I thought I was doing pretty well on Levo until 2 weeks ago. I had vertigo! Pretty scary if you've never had it before. I must have looked like one of those fainting goats. Every time I sat up, I fell over backwards. It only lasted a day, but I've been dizzy ever since.
Avatar f tn Sorry to bring a goat question in, but a fellow breeder and I raise meat goats. We butcher goats all the time and always check all the organs to make sure everything looks as it should. Well, the last 4 goats we did, had really enlarged soft hearts. The valve was very big. Nothing like we had ever seen.
Avatar f tn I am unexperienced with goats, so I suggest you call your veterinarian. I know that when horses are purchased at auction, they are in close quarters with many other horses and can become exposed to various illnesses. I suspect this is the case with your goats. It would be wise in this case to get your vet out and see what is going on, but also to get an overview of your goats' requirements for healthcare, including vaccines, as well as any nutrition or other care questions you may have.
Avatar f tn Hi! Yeah..i have 3 of them. Mine live outside too.. they used to live inside..but it was just too much.. lol Mine used to live with my goats too, they were buddies. Dont have the goats anymore though.. bummer. Anyways.. thanks for replying!
Avatar n tn I don't know much about pygmy goats, as we only have boer goats (a large meat goat breed). I can tell you from my experience with the boer goats, they do tend to cough occasionally regardless of their age. At least with our goats the coughing is normal and has not ever been a symptom of any health problem. Hope this helps.
Avatar f tn We used them on military bases forty years ago, particuliary around ammunition and chemical storage bunkers. A regular mower could not be used. These were often irregularly shaped high mounds. The idea was to have six foot of earth over the explosives. The goats would climb on them and keep the weeds down, which helped with security.
Avatar n tn The risk of listeria in soft cheeses and raw milk has me scared.
Avatar m tn the same way those fainting goats do before they fall over. Again, it only lasts for a few seconds so he maintains balance.
976897 tn?1379167602 You can use online software and create your own dna. You simply mix the proteins you need using the software and look at the results, then you can order the proteins which will be shipped to you. They believe with so many people involved, cures for many things will be popping up. I'm a bit concerned about people creating killer viruses though. There are companies around the world now genetically modifying yeast to produce diesel which works in vehicles.
Avatar f tn Oh I hear you my lovely, I've been to the docs several times as paracetamol does not touch my headaches nor does sleeping!
4194487 tn?1370046144 I miss Being able to roll over in bed and put my shoes and socks on without feeling like it's an Olympic Sport. And I miss eating cheese (I love Brie, Camambert and Goats Cheese and I'm not allowed any because those cheeses are matured with a mould rind apparently, but they taste so darn good......
Avatar n tn You could be having issues with your iron levels.
11928406 tn?1431049111 might be a Weird question but is it safe to drink goats milk while pregnant?
Avatar f tn Oops. My husband and I got a rare date night last night and went to Red Lobster and not even thinking about it I had a caesar salad. After I got home I remembered that you aren't supposed to have caesar dressing while pregnant. Should I be worried?
475300 tn?1312423126 Hi Marcia, would you give me the recipe that you used for the komatchu (sp?) tea. It sounds interesting and I want to try it.
Avatar f tn t like formula it stinks and makes babies throw up more and stains. Goats milk is natural and a little more expensive if you can find it.
Avatar m tn Oh my gosh, that sounds terrible to be fainting that much. I feel so bad for you. I have a strange case of autonomic neuropathy and have the autonomic crisis that happens on occassion. I had a bout of pots for a while during a horrible lung infection that lasted about a year and half. Also after thyroid surgery for me, my heart started working better which helped the temporary pots, but still have all the other things that go along with dysautonomia.
Avatar f tn It is totally normal. It is most likely a case of sciatica. A prenatal massage can work wonders. Also you can find an all natural lotion at some specialty drug stores and online called Two Old Goats. It works fabulously on nerve pain!
2088782 tn?1333221786 I am not a doctor, but if you are better dairy free and it's ok with your doctor to remain that way then this is really good news. Sometimes the skin tests just are not accurate .. not as accurate as a blood test . .that's my understanding. Were you on ANY antihistamines of reflux meds 3 days prior to your skin tests? Those meds can skew the results. Did the allergist test both caseine (Milk protein) and lactose (milk sugar) ?? Please keep us posted ....
Avatar f tn I just got a prescription from the Pediatrician to switch him to Pasterized Goats Milk. Meyenberg Brand goats milk is awesome. I had to do this for my now 6 year old around the same age.......completely and immediately resolved his issues (the same one) also. This is a chemical reaction/food allergy as I learned with both my boys.......at least it was for us.......
Avatar f tn Tausha I am sorry I didn't respond sooner. I hope all is well, and you have had a great summer. Our ectopic pregnancy has me wanting to talk, but not wanting to expose myself to friends and family. I am vulnerable, but don't want to appear that way. We are trying to conceive, and the emotions surrounding our venture are confusing, sorrowful, hopeful, jealous, happy, ashamed, and anxious. I am finally mourning our loss.
Avatar n tn It is not normal to pass out during exercise though if you were not properly hydrated before you exercised it could cause you to become dehydrated and lead you to pass out. However, if it feels like you might always pass out every time you exercise I might suggest avoiding exercise until you have been properly seen.
Avatar f tn There's no way any of us can give you any advice on this, although I know you'd like help and I'm sure a lot of us would like to help you. Fainting can result from simple or more complex problems, and only a doc is going to be able to tell you what's going on. He really, really, really needs to be seen by a doc - his own doc or one he sees by going to an ER.
Avatar n tn Cold chills can come from having the flu, or perhaps in your case with the fainting, could be something as simple as you not having enough protein to eat on a regular basis. Protein is like the wood in a fire, it burns and heats up a person. And if you ain't got no fire, you'll get cold. In addition, protein gives you energy, and if you don't have any, you can get pretty weak and light-headed. But there are many reasons why this happened to you, those are just my top two choices.
Avatar n tn It could be a number of things have you been over doing it lately or not sleeping properly, are you worried about anything?
Avatar f tn Hi Xs, i dont think anybody could really tell you, but you should go to your doctor, if you have been already, and get tested, if you have a doctor that you only see in a couple of weeks, then get to an ER.
Avatar f tn Go to doctor! I didn't see you put that you had. You could be having seizures, very bad anxiety attacks.
