549681 tn?1229724499 OK folks, I could use a little encouragement. I'm 9 months post RAI for a toxic nodule. I thought I was doing pretty well on Levo until 2 weeks ago. I had vertigo! Pretty scary if you've never had it before. I must have looked like one of those fainting goats. Every time I sat up, I fell over backwards. It only lasted a day, but I've been dizzy ever since.
Avatar f tn Sorry to bring a goat question in, but a fellow breeder and I raise meat goats. We butcher goats all the time and always check all the organs to make sure everything looks as it should. Well, the last 4 goats we did, had really enlarged soft hearts. The valve was very big. Nothing like we had ever seen.

Avatar f tn My family and I had just gotten a pair of two pygmy goats a few days ago from a nearby auction house. We got a younger goat (about 2-3 months old) and a younger adult goat (about 8 months). They are just getting used to people now and i noticed that up close, the 12-3 month old had greenish discharge coming from his nose. He's been sneezing quite a bit latley and i dont know whats wrong with the little guy! please help!
Avatar f tn Hi! Yeah..i have 3 of them. Mine live outside too.. they used to live inside..but it was just too much.. lol Mine used to live with my goats too, they were buddies. Dont have the goats anymore though.. bummer. Anyways.. thanks for replying!
Avatar f tn Im in week 13, several people have had no problems with TX (treatment) I know it is scarry but...For me its been peachy...All those fears for nothing...I was thinking about backing out till the day I went to doctors and took my first shot...Which is another fear all in its self...But painless...The hardest part about the shot , is you get a week to forget it, then you gotta work up the courage to poke your skin again...
Avatar f tn We used them on military bases forty years ago, particuliary around ammunition and chemical storage bunkers. A regular mower could not be used. These were often irregularly shaped high mounds. The idea was to have six foot of earth over the explosives. The goats would climb on them and keep the weeds down, which helped with security.
Avatar n tn I don't know much about pygmy goats, as we only have boer goats (a large meat goat breed). I can tell you from my experience with the boer goats, they do tend to cough occasionally regardless of their age. At least with our goats the coughing is normal and has not ever been a symptom of any health problem. Hope this helps.
Avatar f tn The WIC in TX only.uses Similac but they will do other ones with a Drs RX. I started with enfamil with my first when breastfeeding failed me and then WIC put me on the orange labeled similac which is the normal one. Basically just ask the nursery nurses at the hospital what they use, start with that and then consult your pediatrician to see what they suggest.
Avatar m tn the same way those fainting goats do before they fall over. Again, it only lasts for a few seconds so he maintains balance.
Avatar f tn IT has been known for ages that it increases blood flow and will decrease the pain. I use peppermint goats milk lotion and its a life saver! Cheap and worth it!!
976897 tn?1379167602 The genes for producing the protein to make silk in spiders has been found and spliced into goats. The milk produced by the goats contains lots of the protein so the silk can be produced in large quantities. Why? well the silk is the strongest thing in nature or made by humans. It can be used to repair tendons for example. But that's just the tip of the iceberg. You can use online software and create your own dna.
475300 tn?1312423126 t use it on TX. might be too strong, it was for me. My Derm Dr said it was coming from within. Lets see if Marcia has any natural ideas.
Avatar f tn AND the meat itself had like individual strands of the goats fur so I'm scared if the goat licked itself and the saliva got everywhere. May have eaten it since I didn't have time to take those off one by one.
11928406 tn?1431049111 might be a Weird question but is it safe to drink goats milk while pregnant?
Avatar n tn The risk of listeria in soft cheeses and raw milk has me scared.

Avatar f tn His favourite food is muscles (which I had once in a restaurant) and goats cheese (again had on a couple of occasions!) Planning on doing the same with this one, have had one date night since 12 weeks and enjoyed a goats cheese tart!
Avatar f tn i think its neat that you reduced drugs to stay on tx......my itching and riba rash is still getting me...every night...kind of slowed down a bit for the first week off tx then it seemed to pick up again...take it slow...i always over do...now at almost three weeks post tx...i'm stumbling ...all of a sudden i go down...either trip on something or just go down...not fainting either...just an uncoordinated action i can't explain...but all in all feeling way way better off tx....
Avatar f tn I am female, 50 year old. Geno 3a. Started Hepa C TX last Thursday. Took my first interferon inj at 6 p.m. At 1.am night woke up to go to wash rm. while coming back collapsed in the hallway and was taken to emergency..They told that my BP dropped and thats the reason for my fainting. Is it the side effect of inj. Has anyone on this forum experience such side effect. They gave glucose drip and felt better afterward. My next inj is on coming Thursday and already scared about it.
Avatar f tn I was about 16 weeks with my 2nd (a boy) and would get so dizzy, I couldnt see or stand, a few times I did faint. I was terrified of what could be wrong. My doctor tested everything my heart, my sugar, even my head and everything came back normal. I suggest drinking alot of water, and sometimes orange juice and crackers, like cheese crackers would help alot. If you start to feel dizzy try to lie down on your right side. It always helped me too.
Avatar f tn A CT scan or X-ray of the skull should have been done. Now watch and see if your son has balancing problems, excess sleep, fainting attacks or vomiting. If he has, then immediately consult your doctor. Also try for a CT scan immediately. Hope this helps. Take care!
Avatar f tn Goats milk is really comparable to breastmilk honestly I don't like formula it stinks and makes babies throw up more and stains. Goats milk is natural and a little more expensive if you can find it.
290867 tn?1333569278 Hey! I am glad all is well! How was the amnio anyway?
Avatar f tn Hi ya, although tx did not make me feel ill. A UTI sure did. So a friend of mine made me ginger tea. Here's a few ideas. Chamomile tea or any decaf tea you like and then he sliced the ginger very, very thin. hot water teabag and ginger w/honey or what ever sweetener you like. It was very good and very affordable. In a pinch I just put a small chunk in my mouth/cheek. I was surprised that that stuff really works and it works fast. Hope you get to feeling better.
Avatar f tn Also you can find an all natural lotion at some specialty drug stores and online called Two Old Goats. It works fabulously on nerve pain!
