fainting

1098760 tn?1266447897 I thought at first he must have met with the neighbors electric fence, but then I noticed the wound. My neighbor has Dairy Goats, and after x-mass they get all the trees left over from the lots and feed them to the goats. My yards not fenced and they leave the eaten bare of bark and all, trees in my back yard. I own a dog who could trip while standing still, hes so clumsy! Im guessing he ran as fast as he could playing and slid and fell right into one of these bloody trees.
549681 tn?1229724499 OK folks, I could use a little encouragement. I'm 9 months post RAI for a toxic nodule. I thought I was doing pretty well on Levo until 2 weeks ago. I had vertigo! Pretty scary if you've never had it before. I must have looked like one of those fainting goats. Every time I sat up, I fell over backwards. It only lasted a day, but I've been dizzy ever since.

Avatar f tn Sorry to bring a goat question in, but a fellow breeder and I raise meat goats. We butcher goats all the time and always check all the organs to make sure everything looks as it should. Well, the last 4 goats we did, had really enlarged soft hearts. The valve was very big. Nothing like we had ever seen.
364288 tn?1300144506 Happy Monday everyone! Hope you all had a great weekend! I just had a quick question for you re: fainting. I've had a few spells on and off nothing to the point where I actually faint but I start feeling like I'm going to pass out. I get sweaty and I feel sick to my stomach. I talked to my Dr. about this and she didn't seem concerned. She said sometimes your blood pressure gets low and it you start feeling that way. Just wondering if anyone has felt like this before? It *****!!
Avatar f tn My family and I had just gotten a pair of two pygmy goats a few days ago from a nearby auction house. We got a younger goat (about 2-3 months old) and a younger adult goat (about 8 months). They are just getting used to people now and i noticed that up close, the 12-3 month old had greenish discharge coming from his nose. He's been sneezing quite a bit latley and i dont know whats wrong with the little guy! please help!
Avatar f tn Hi! Yeah..i have 3 of them. Mine live outside too.. they used to live inside..but it was just too much.. lol Mine used to live with my goats too, they were buddies. Dont have the goats anymore though.. bummer. Anyways.. thanks for replying!
Avatar f tn We used them on military bases forty years ago, particuliary around ammunition and chemical storage bunkers. A regular mower could not be used. These were often irregularly shaped high mounds. The idea was to have six foot of earth over the explosives. The goats would climb on them and keep the weeds down, which helped with security.
2094653 tn?1334267573 You should be ok as long as you wash your hands or whatever come into contact with your 3 yr old. Aslo, I don't know if you have any pets in the house or around but they can also contract it from your little one and in turn pass it back to you or anyone it comes in contact with.
Avatar n tn I don't know much about pygmy goats, as we only have boer goats (a large meat goat breed). I can tell you from my experience with the boer goats, they do tend to cough occasionally regardless of their age. At least with our goats the coughing is normal and has not ever been a symptom of any health problem. Hope this helps.
Avatar m tn the same way those fainting goats do before they fall over. Again, it only lasts for a few seconds so he maintains balance.
Avatar f tn IT has been known for ages that it increases blood flow and will decrease the pain. I use peppermint goats milk lotion and its a life saver! Cheap and worth it!!
976897 tn?1379167602 The genes for producing the protein to make silk in spiders has been found and spliced into goats. The milk produced by the goats contains lots of the protein so the silk can be produced in large quantities. Why? well the silk is the strongest thing in nature or made by humans. It can be used to repair tendons for example. But that's just the tip of the iceberg. You can use online software and create your own dna.
Avatar f tn this is a weird qyestion but i'm curious....has anyone elses's pets acted weird towards you during your pregnancy?? my dogs have always been affectionate but the past few days they just follow me EVERYWHERE!! i can't even go pee or take a bath without them sitting outside the door whimpering at me. my kittens been the same way. she's not really a people cat but the past week if i'm out of her sight she goes crazy looking for me and just starts wailing till i pick her up.
Avatar f tn My younger sister, who is 14, somewhat frequently will drop to her knees, groan and clutch her head, and is completely unresponsive. It seems to go in batches. She had three a day for five days, two a day for ten days, etc. She only gets a week break between these bursts. Yesterday was the first of this batch, and once she stood up, I asked her what it was like, and she said this: "similar to fainting, except I still sorta hear what's going on around me. Everything is intense.
Avatar f tn AND the meat itself had like individual strands of the goats fur so I'm scared if the goat licked itself and the saliva got everywhere. May have eaten it since I didn't have time to take those off one by one.
11928406 tn?1431049111 might be a Weird question but is it safe to drink goats milk while pregnant?
Avatar n tn The risk of listeria in soft cheeses and raw milk has me scared.
Avatar f tn íts good to have pets, babies/children brought up with pets have been shown to have less allergies than those bought up in a pet free home, in saying that while pregnant I would wear gloves when cleaning out the litter box etc, and just watch your ferret around baby when it arrives because as you probably know they can chomp hard !
Avatar f tn m really concerned about right now is introducing the baby to the pets. I have two cats and a dog. The dog is very protective, so I think she will be ok, and my younger cat is pretty laid back. But my older cat tried to reject the other two animals when they came home. It took six months to have her in the same room as the dog without attacking. I'm not sure how she's going to react to baby, but my family has been warned...
Avatar f tn Has anyone else noticed that their pets act drastically different towards you now that you are pregnant? My cat is driving me nuts! She insists on smelling all my food and won't let me out of her sights for more than 5 seconds. I'm curious if anyone else had had this experience or if my cat is just overly protective.
Avatar f tn Does anyone here have pets that just KNOW your pregnant or can tell something is up? What do they do? When I think back to the way he acted I think my dog knew before I did. He cuddles me alot more and is careful of my belly. If he accidently hits it he will "lick it better". Sometimes he just lays with his head on my belly. But the best was just a few ago. He brought his rope toy up and layed it on my belly and nudged it a little.
