Sorry to bring a goat question in, but a fellow breeder and I raise meat goats. We butcher goats all the time and always check all the organs to make sure everything looks as it should. Well, the last 4 goats we did, had really enlarged soft hearts. The valve was very big. Nothing like we had ever seen.
My family and I had just gotten a pair of two pygmy goats a few days ago from a nearby auction house. We got a younger goat (about 2-3 months old) and a younger adult goat (about 8 months). They are just getting used to people now and i noticed that up close, the 12-3 month old had greenish discharge coming from his nose. He's been sneezing quite a bit latley and i dont know whats wrong with the little guy! please help!

Mine used to live with my goats too, they were buddies.
Dont have the goats anymore though.. bummer.

We used them on military bases forty years ago, particuliary around ammunition and chemical storage bunkers. A regular mower could not be used. These were often irregularly shaped high mounds. The idea was to have six foot of earth over the explosives. The goats would climb on them and keep the weeds down, which helped with security.
I don't know much about pygmy goats, as we only have boer goats (a large meat goat breed). I can tell you from my experience with the boer goats, they do tend to cough occasionally regardless of their age. At least with our goats the coughing is normal and has not ever been a symptom of any health problem. Hope this helps.

IT has been known for ages that it increases blood flow and will decrease the pain. I use peppermint goats milk lotion and its a life saver! Cheap and worth it!!
Ive had on my whole life that,acts up and had 2 procedures done to help it (both failed) it leads to me fainting, being dizzy, having palpitations, etc. and i dont want that for baby.
AND the meat itself had like individual strands of the goats fur so I'm scared if the goat licked itself and the saliva got everywhere. May have eaten it since I didn't have time to take those off one by one.
Over the past two years she has had seven fainting episodes.I was very concerned as there is a history of epilepsy in my husbands family so I had her checked up completely.All tests where negative blood,sugar,heart,epilepsy and ct scan.I need some kind of advise,the episodes keep occurring and now a new sympton (headaches) has surfaced.Its scary as evrytime she has an episode she doesnt remember anyything and has seriously injured herself on 2 occasions.Any advise would be grealty appreciated.
32 weeks 1 day pregnant i'm been feeling the way like you are i really don't know what's going on. I have fainting episodes where my husband finds me on the floor and i don't remember anything. Doctors has check my head and run some test but everthing comes back normal. Maybe it could be with are pregnancy??

His favourite food is muscles (which I had once in a restaurant) and goats cheese (again had on a couple of occasions!) Planning on doing the same with this one, have had one date night since 12 weeks and enjoyed a goats cheese tart!
Goats milk is really comparable to breastmilk honestly I don't like formula it stinks and makes babies throw up more and stains. Goats milk is natural and a little more expensive if you can find it.
Also you can find an all natural lotion at some specialty drug stores and online called Two Old Goats. It works fabulously on nerve pain!
I guess that depends on what you mean by "effective." I try to spend as much time as possible with music playing nearby. My son kicked and punched and did flips when I went out while pregnant to the club my husband DJs at, I always figured he liked it.
My son is smart but I don't attribute that to music playing in utero. He loves music and singing and playing instruments but he's heard it every day since he was born, not just in utero.
If i have headphones in can my baby here the music or do i have to put something to my tummy?
I've become absolutly engrossed in music In my last 5 months clean. But it doesn't make me think of my pills. Some songs make me feel guilt of the things i had done,some caused grief in the things I've missed out on,some cause love because they remind me of my husband,some cause sadness because they remind me of someone I lost but didn't have the emotions at the time to grieve for them because I was high. The music makes me hate the pills more but never love them.
I don't think loud music affects a baby in the womb. I could be wrong but I don't think it's bad until they're born because you don't want to hurt their little ear drums.
Anyone else let your little one listen to music? I read to my tummy and put little nursey songs on for my him. And he starts noving a lot . Does anyone do this ?
My baby moves with the rhythm of music. ..
