OK folks, I could use a little encouragement. I'm 9 months post RAI for a toxic nodule. I thought I was doing pretty well on Levo until 2 weeks ago. I had vertigo! Pretty scary if you've never had it before. I must have looked like one of those fainting goats. Every time I sat up, I fell over backwards. It only lasted a day, but I've been dizzy ever since.

We used them on military bases forty years ago, particuliary around ammunition and chemical storage bunkers. A regular mower could not be used. These were often irregularly shaped high mounds. The idea was to have six foot of earth over the explosives. The goats would climb on them and keep the weeds down, which helped with security.

I don't know much about pygmy goats, as we only have boer goats (a large meat goat breed). I can tell you from my experience with the boer goats, they do tend to cough occasionally regardless of their age. At least with our goats the coughing is normal and has not ever been a symptom of any health problem. Hope this helps.

Thanks for your answer, they have already removed medication and a 24 hr blood pressure monitor test proved it is not my blood pressure that is causing the lightheadedness and fainting problem upon standing up. So now they have me going to the Electrophysiology clinic at the University of Michigan hospital. Hopefully they can figure this whole mess out. Thanks for you reply.

AND the meat itself had like individual strands of the goats fur so I'm scared if the goat licked itself and the saliva got everywhere. May have eaten it since I didn't have time to take those off one by one.

My fiance has been battling "vertigo" for almost a year now; we have been told it isn't vertigo because things do not spin for him. Anyway, he gets lightheaded and feels like something is pulling him to the ground, frequent headaches, ringing in the ears.

His favourite food is muscles (which I had once in a restaurant) and goats cheese (again had on a couple of occasions!) Planning on doing the same with this one, have had one date night since 12 weeks and enjoyed a goats cheese tart!

m now off it and have started back on the throxin but its now having a side affects, i get heart palpitatios , when i en hale cold air it brings on the palpatations, dry hair, nails,constipation, and other things , i 've gone off taking it and i'm breathing much better but i know i need the thyroxen. any one out there with side affects and what do i do.
